The opal specimen is opalite, which is synthetic. Also our box was missing the obsidian and had some other grey not-even-close rock.

Yes, at least they appear to be. But they are very small (half inch) and rough looking. Booklet has matching photos and descriptive text. Eight year old girl was quite pleased
