If your dog is a heavy/aggressive chewer, this leash is for you! Recommended by my dog trainer, this chew-proof leash is a game changer for my 30 lb. puppy (aka Land Shark) who destroys everything she can get in her mouth. The leash is very sturdy and durable. At 5 feet long, it's a great length for my girl. Despite some teeth (shark) marks, the leash is still in great condition. I took off 1 star due to the orange grip covering on the leash handle. My little Land Shark chewed right through a small section of the orange rubber. I used scissors to remove the rest of it - problem solved - but she did swallow a piece before I realized what she was doing. Otherwise, a high quality leash!

It arrived I'm thinking omg how thin to hold 250 lbs. Oh it held my Dane. The chew this was the best few bucks I'd spent. He tried to chew 1 time n immediately stopped. Thank goodness!!!! It's not heavy at all. Now the handle the orange can be chewed but he didn't try after the cable. Best money spent! So far he was shown it n he normally will jump n get excited n I can't leash him or he just chews even if I redirect or anything positive. Unless something changes I can't see ATM. Money well spent. N yes my man said it will hold my dog he's 120 lbs rn n has up to another 12 months of potentially more growth ! Hope that helps EDIT!!!!! IT CAN BE CHEWED !!!! THE OUTER COATING N IT WILL HURT YOUR HAND.. OH WELL. IT INITIALLY KINDA HELPED. WENT BACK TO A REGULAR LEASH.

Quality leash

It's a strong leash. I bought several for my dogs, but it's the husky who needs a chew-proof lead. My dogs pull, and what I noticed is, if you and your dogs tangle leashes, these would be dangerous. One nearly degloved my thumb, another hurt himself wrapping it around his leg. Another tends to wrap his leash around his neck. Under tension, you can't untangle these, and it's hard to get a grip on it. If you walk one or two dogs, it would be perfect. I walk up to six.

So far my Mali can't chew through this leash. The handle is a but thicker so a bit more gentle on the hands. Satisfied with this purchase.

The handle is fairly comfortable. My dog has chewed through two nylon leashes so hopefully this one will last longer. I’m trying to not let him chew on it but he’s a teething 4 month old German Shepherd and a baby shark. The length is good for my purpose because I want to keep him close. Overall happy with this purchase.

Brought these as my cockerpoo chews threw every lead iv brought and I have spent a fortune on leads i have this a few months and yes he's took the plastic cover off but not gone threw the metal Very happy with his product
