Been using this in different configurations. Took me a while to see that I could detach and reattach even the seemingly fixed points of attachment. It’s been working well for me.

I use this often. My attendant uses this. It is amazing. It is easy to move from room to room. Changing the configuration is just a matter of unscrewing and popping one piece out for another. It is sturdy and doesn’t overbalance even with the phone in the center and fully extended. I could go all Mary Poppins and supercal…but I could never spell that bloody word. I can’t think of anything that I don’t like about it.Okay I just thought that it would be fantastic if it were cheaper but then I am guessing the product wouldn’t be as fabulous. Anyway if you are looking for something that is versatile and adjustable and has good lighting to help you with your YouTube channel or whatever this is not likely to let you down

This thing really upped my youtube tutorial game, it's sturdy and versatile - but they really cheaped out on the ring light. When I first started using it, everything worked great - even the light. After 2 hrs of use, the light turned off by itself and wouldn't turn on again.I had read in the reviews of this product that the customer service was responsive, so I contacted them and within a few days had filed a claim for a new ring light. 2 months later the new ring light finally arrived, i hooked it up, and it wouldn't even turn on. Complete junk. I could probably contact customer service again and get another bum light in 2 months, but i think I'm going to buy a different clip ring light from somewhere else to use with this stand that might actually work.I recommend this product because the rest of it is actually pretty great - but you'll just have to get your ring light somewhere else.

Overall an ok light. It worked for about 2 years but then burnt out. I thought it would be better for attaching my phone to take overhead shots, but the arms aren't strong enough to hold a phone (the arm would start dipping, so I couldn't get a still shot).... so, I just used it as a ring light for Zoom calls. It's very clunky to be used as a desk lamp. I'm secretly relieved it broke so that I can buy a new one that has a smaller footprint for my desk!

I bought this about 6 weeks in preparation of starting a very small Etsy business and today was the first time I tried to use it other than setting it up to make sure it worked. When I was moving the ring light around to get the right lighting it came loose in my hand. I assumed the joint was just loose but when I looked at it I realized it actually had snapped off. I’m pretty disappointed as the return/exchange window just passed about a week ago. It’s as if they know the item won’t last long.
