Excellent and comfortable knee braces!
These worked EXCELLENT for my husbands knees that were bone on bone! Helped reduce pain! They were used daily when he drove over the road in semi truck. Easy to clean and worth the price! Very helpful.

Works perfectly for patellofemoral arthritis
I have patellofemoral osteoarthritis from doing squats from a few years back. I have tried numerous knee braces for different activities. I needed a brace that was stable on the knee while running/jogging. This is a large brace that covers the distal quadriceps to the proximal tibiofibular soft tissues. There are large straps that are affixed by Vecro. It fits a little bit larger than my size so I pull the straps obliquely to fasten them tight enough. I like the contact of the silicone straps to my skin, rather than use the underlying microfiber sleeve. My knee feels stable during a rapid pace of running and the brace stays in place. I feel that the material is sturdy, and I have used this for about 2 weeks daily. I have the shorter knee brace version, also, which I wear when I am not running. However, I prefer additional support when I do run. The price is quite high but I feel that this gives me more comfort and stability than other braces I have used in the past.

Poor strap velcro design
This brace is shorter than the don joy reaction web brace which makes it feel like you're not getting as much support. Also, there is a plastic side on each end of the velcro straps so that unless you have a perfect fit, you are not able to attach the straps properly. It just feels like poor design

Front webbing is excellent but velcro securing is junk
It does work well but after about a month and a half the Velcro does not work. You would think with the good quality of the front part that they would have a better securing method! Tried running the other day and in less than ten yards the Velcro had released and brace was around my ankle.

Great for acl support
I really liked this knee support brace. I've had it 6 months and have used it probably two to three times a week for about 4 hours each use. Unfortunately this week it tore in-between one of the webs and the velcro hasn't been holding as it was and is slipping. Otherwise it offers excellent support for the acl tear I suffered from and did not have surgery for.

Incredible knee brace you can play soccer in!
I wish these existed when I was younger! I caved in and bought this for both knees with the material knee sleeve to wear underneath. I wouldn’t recommend wearing them without the knee sleeve because the rivers that allow for your knee to bend, could potentially pinch your skin. I wear both of these adamantly while playing soccer as a 35yr old and it’s amazing! When my knees try to twist too far one way when I change direction during a soccer game, these knee braces hold my knee firmly and comfortably so that they stay correctly aligned. It’s almost like a feeling of heavy extra tendons around your tendons! It hasn’t slowed me down and not restricting at all while playing. I can play just as hard and run as fast as before. I really love how easy they are to take on and off while playing. Once you secure them with the Velcro, they won’t come undone. It’s truly a well made and thought of design. I wish I could of had these years ago. Absolutely worth the money at $80/each vs knee surgeries = priceless.

had to return it after one try on
Maybe this is stated in the product listing, but I thought the hinges were metal. They are not, they're a thin flexible plastic and will surely break. They did not bend at the hinge with walking, they flexed in a way that will surely cause them to break, but that's partially due to another problem. Perhaps this was due to being a new item, but it did not fit across my knee even though I use another DonJoy brace and remeasured to be sure. The hinges were not lateral and medial but more anterior, squeezing the kneecap. Maybe the silicone needs to stretch out but what are you supposed to do until it does? Speaking of the silicone it was very sticky and grippy out of the box, you will most certainly need to use the thin sleeve with it (which is like a lycra hose with a little grip to the ends) or else it will merge with your skin like a symbiote hungry for a host after aeons of space travel. I couldn't really move my leg according to my own will and this thing just kind of decided how I would walk now which did not feel comfortable or safe. It wrapped tight around the kneecap, which if you could size it right may be what you need but it was painful to me and I don't even have a kneecap issue. The stickiness means it will pick up every single bit of hair, dust, dirt, surface of your clothes, trash from the block over that dares to spawn within its capture zone. I read in the reviews people talking about the non-velcro adhesive and that is true; it is not velcro and will not hold for very long, like maybe a month, even less if you are active. It is nice that you can totally remove the backing with straps from the silicone webbing to optimize adjustment, but why do all that if you are just going to put crap closures on it? I was hoping for something that is more breathable and lightweight than what I use normally (the DonJoy bionic performance hinged in grey camo or prior the Shock Doctor 875) but I returned this and bought a new bionic. I've had an eye on these style of DonJoy braces for years now and really bummed it didn't work out. There's some good ideas here, but there needs to be significant changes for this to be a useable device. If you can, go to a store or get sized for a custom one of these. Still, you will have the issue of the stickiness and horrible hinges unless they have a custom model with real hinges.

GOOD PRODUCT, nice feel on the knee
The product is well thought about, for a knee, with some issues; there are many knees products on the market, so knowing the problem or issue, with your knee, is a good beginning, in my case, THIS PRODUCT, fits my specific issue. Stability, compression, twisting tendency, while running or walking. If I am going to practice Tennis or other activity that imposes, potential stress to my knee and parts of the knee, then, this is the product, for THAT SPECIFIC, activity. If your issue is other, try other types of knee support, to begin with, before choosing a great product, like this ONE, DONJOY PERFORMANCE WEBTECH KNEE SUPPORT BRACE WITH COMPRESSION UNDERSLEEVE!!
