Scentco Glitter Gel Smens - Gourmet Scented Pens, Colored Gel Ink, Medium Point, 8 Count

I attached an image to show you the colors. They write very smoothly and I like the rubber grip! They only smudge a little bit and that’s because I’m a leftie ! :) keep in mind, it’s not the ink that is scented, but the grip itself. I do not know how long the scent will last, but I enjoy it. To me, the scent is the same even though they’re all different “flavors”. So I encountered the issue of the pen stopping up. This is going to sound weird, but you can possibly fix this issue by carefully taking the pen(s) apart and blowing on the cartridge opening while pressing down on some paper. It should get the ink flowing smoothly again! I had to do this with almost every pen for some reason, and I’ve been journaling just fine the next day and only had to scribble a bit to get the ink flowing from one of the pens again vs taking it apart. Just a little tip, so don’t throw your pens away guys! I know it seems gross, but it’ll save you some money $$! The colors on some aren’t as vibrant as you’d think. Like the strawberry red one is almost pinkish/rose gold. The orange (mango) is the lightest and is my least favorite bc it’s so hard to see on paper. I will still use it though for my journaling, but it won’t be my main color. The black one appears to be more charcoal gray vs a true black. The green is darker than expected even tho it seems like it’d be lime green. I’m glad it’s darker though! Blueberry pie isn’t as dark as it appears. More of a silvery blue. The others are pretty spot-on when it comes to color. The shimmer does show up, but it’d not obnoxious. More of like a sheen vs true glitter/metallic. I don’t like extreme metallic or glitter though since I am a leftie and it gets all over my hands lol. I think these are great pens for the value and I got them bc of the smell. I love scented pens. I just bought the sugar skull ones too and they smell just like these. Just in case you guys were thinking of buying that set too! I’ll have to make a separate review on those, but they just came in the mail today so I need to test those first. :) I hope you all found this review helpful!

I absolutely love these pens! I bought three individual smens before deciding to get a pack. They did not disappoint! Pros: -The ink matches the color of the pen, and I love the sparkle. The sparkles don’t transfer, which is great. -Value. (The pens are affordable and high-quality for the price. The pens write smoothly, and the grips offer a comfortable writing experience.) -Great scents. (I love the scents of the grips!They’re long-lasting and strong enough to smell when writing without being overpowering.) Cons: -One of the pens I got did not write smoothly. Though there’s plenty of ink in the pen, I often have to scribble to get the ink out. I ended up giving up and throwing away the pen. -Slower drying. (As a lefty, ink smears on my hand and paper when I write. The ink doesn’t smear too much, but I wish it dried a tad faster) Overall, would highly recommend! These pens make writing fun.

The ink is not scented, only the pen grip is. The smells are strong. Made my kid happy enough, but I would go a different route in the future.

I love these pens! I was surprised by how smoothly they write. Solid line with smooth flow.The grip is a great size with good give and a nice texture. The ink doesn't smudge or bleed. It sparkles! The weight is a little lighter than I like, but it's heavier than the average click pen. The colors are just like the photos. Each pen comes individually sealed in a plastic baggie to preserve the scent I guess. There's also a lot of ink. I worried that these pens would run out fast like most novelty pens do, but I've been using the first one I opened for weeks without any sign of low ink. (I do a lot of writing at work). Obviously due to the glitter, these can't be used for certain types of paperwork, but for personal stuff, notes, or a desk calendar- they make it cute and work well. A little spendy for pens, but sometimes you have to splurge for something cute.

I write a lot of data at work - this keeps it fun (I am a 53 year old child). I am sad the black one ran out first but no surprise because it was my favorite. I wish I could buy more of just the black glitter! I am super picky about pens - I am a secret hater of flare pens because they drag on paper, almost like fingernails on a chalkboard. I want a smoooooth flow & slight feel when I write, these are as good as my favorite G2 regular ink pens but SO much better because they GLITTER. The scent is secondary for me, although it is pleasant, I really don't care what scent I am using. I originally just wanted pens that I could recognize in a sea of coworkers' & students' pens - the ones I could tell apart in these covid times. Now I can't live without them!! I would love to buy refills, I hate throwing away the whole pen.
