Moana ReadAlong Storybook & CD (Read-Along Storybook and CD)

In most cases, I buy the Read-Along book and CD after we have seen the movie, but this time, I purchased this first. I was a little bit worried when I saw how much text was on each page, and I noticed that the voice of the narrator is slower on this CD than on our others, but my daughter (3 years old) didn't seem to mind, and she was intrigued from the first listen. She loved it, so we saw the movie soon after! I actually think it was helpful to read the book first to give a basic introduction of the plot before seeing the movie. When we are at home, we use a boombox to listen to the CD, but I also love taking these in the car. My daughter can turn the pages of the book on her own when she hears the chime and loves following along with the story. Note: this book is a bit longer than the other Disney Read-Along books in our collection. The older books (Finding Nemo, Toy Story, The Lion King) are all about 10 minutes in length, and this one is 22:13 in length. Not a problem, necessarily, but something to note. The pages of this book are definitely longer than the pages in the other books I mentioned, too.

A BIT LONG! My five year olds can handle it to a certain extent but after awhile it’s to long for them. So we stop it about half way because of the length of pages

Bought this for my 3 year old niece who is obsessed with Moana!! We had to sit down and listen to it as soon as all the presents where opened and everyone had left.

I love that this book comes with a CD telling the story. This CD is extra special because it's a read-along but with sound effects. The narrator uses different voices and emotion. We use these books as background instead of having the TV on all the time, so they work great even without the book to follow along. Moana is a family favorite, so this one is perfect.

My grandkids loved this movie so I opted to buy this for car trips. They love it and I've been told it follows the story line of the movie! The pictures are bright, the narration is perfect and keeps them interested and the CD is of good quality...crisp and clear in the car CD player.

My 6 year old daughter loves the Disney read-along books, and Moana is no exception. The book captures all the key developments of the movie, and the CD/soundtrack is done well and with quality. This particular story is a little bit scary to read as a bedtime story, so we don't play or read this one at night before bed. This is a daytime-only story for us! Nevertheless, my daughter really enjoys it.

This is a great book with CD because in the CD the voices were the exact voices from the movie; so amazing it helps me and my son remember the actual scenes and characters. It makes reading more interesting for the child especially if your child have seen the movie. And very cheap too. Unbeatable. Thank you Amazon for making this available online. My son LOVES it SO MUCH! If I can give this 10 stars I would!

This was the better version of the book I got for my niece, because she is almost three years old, so she cannot yet read the book on her own. She loves the book when I read it to her, but her face lit up when listening to the CD read it aloud to her. It is dramatic and has background noises that engage her and provide more intonation and implication for the mood of the scenes. The narrators for the CD are of high quality and the sounds and effects made me happy to hear it! I would highly recommend this book!

Gradevole e semplice. Lo utilizzo con i bambini a scuola ed é molto pratico! Lo consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliano leggere una bella fiaba in lingua inglese!

My Moana obsessed 4 year old loves this, it follows the story of the film and tells them with a sound when to turn the page, if your child likes Moana then they’ll love this too!

Gostei do fato de serem as vozes dos personagens, assim é mais legal! Bom para treinar inglês com as crianças, o áudio é nítido e a passagem de páginas é indicada com um som, o que facilita a leitura. Só fiquei triste que eles não cantam as músicas que têm no filme, é só a narração mesmo.

I absolutely love these types of read-along books and am so happy they still exist! We have a couple of CD players, and these are perfect for car rides. The story and music keep the kids entertained, and it brings back fond memories. Wish CDs were still a thing, but I guess I’m just old and living in the past, lol. This Moana storybook and CD set is a gem for any family.
