Exceeded my expectations
This is an Omnipod accessory that I feel everyone should have. The white guard fit my Omnipod 5 perfectly. I placed the Omnipod into the guard before applying it to my body as instructed. It helped me attach the pod without touching and messing up the pods adhesive. The included over patch (2) included is lightweight and sticks well. Patch did not irritate my skin and came off easily. I prefer the look of the decorative printed ones better. I had generic overpatches that I bought at Amazon for as little as 40¢ each in packages of 25. I did see some of the lightweight white ones on Amazon for 17¢ each. They both fit the same. If you have bumped or dragged clothes over your Omnipod and dislodged the cannula as I have you will appreciate this guard. I wish I had seen it long ago.

I love this!
I love this bump guard for my omnipod, I put it on the pod before taking the white paper off the adhesive on the pod itself, and have had no issues with it!

Not very protective
This didn’t fit the pods very well, nor did it help protect them. The Dexcom version has better “fingers” that extend over the adhesive to help hold it down. This one has too many fingers that are too flimsy. The cover also doesn’t fit over the pods, it seems too small. It rides up so that the fingers don’t lay down agains the skin and the adhesive. It’s also really hard to get it to fit around the pods since it’s so small and the window doesn’t allow the catheter to be seen. Just really disappointed in this as my daughter has roped out a few catheters and messed up some of the adhesive. Her cover for her Dexcom works extreamly well and it would be great if that brand made one for the Omnipod or if this brand made one for the Omnipod made more like the other one.

Cover Lift
Purchased for my nephew age 10 he’s autistic and didn’t like the Insulin Pump Pod to show or lift. I read up then purchased this product used the first 6 days (2 x) to find it started lifting under the adhesive especially if he sweats or showers so, I wasted money on product have found if I cake on the adhesive first it somewhat stays put still lifts at edges.

Almost perfect!
I was diagnosed with T1D at the ripe age of 46. After some time on MDI I chose to go on a pump. The only pump I considered was the Omnipod, because I didn't want a tube. I'm a runner, and also clumsy (lol) and had started having so many issues with leaking pods, especially on my thighs, that I was about to give up on them. Lo and behold, enter this little miracle. An overpatch alone didn't solve my issues, but this has virtually made my leaky pods a thing of the past. In fairness, I'd rather give 4.5 stars but that's not an option. The reason for the slight ding is that for me, the "feet" need to be the teeniest bit longer. Sometimes, depending on placement area, they tend to slip out from under the patch. I usually only note this on my stomach, though. The other issue is the white plastic will discolor as it picks up dyes from clothing. However, I recently ordered direct from the company and multiple colors are available and the feet on the new ones are slightly different. They do tend to wear/stretch after a while (I ordered my first one about 3 months ago) so I think rotation and replacement are necessary. Highly recommend these and as a bonus, you are supporting a small business.

Cannula/Pod Saver!
I started on the omnipod 5 earlier this year and was loving it but was losing pods way way too frequently, then I found this grip! This thing has been a lifesaver for me. It does a great job of keeping my pods on. I’ve swiped doors furniture etc and haven’t lost a pod since using this. It also keeps the cannula in better, I usually put my pods on my lower back or thigh and I’ve had a couple cannulas pop out, not with this on. I’ve seen people say they have trouble getting it on, but I always put the grip on before applying my pod: pull the plastic tab out from the back of pod, put this grip on the pod, peel adhesive backing off back of pod, apply to body with the grip already on the pod, put overpatch on over it all. That has always worked really well for me and I’ve never had issues getting it over the Omnipod 5 pods. I’ve used it with 4 different overpatches myself including podpals, simpatch, rockadex, and expressionmed and they have all fit/worked well with this grip. Overall I really like this grip and I definitely recommend it, it’s given me one less thing to worry about in life!

Poor shipping resulted in damaged overpatches
Shield is fine and what I needed. However, the entire package was crushed it the envelope it was shipped in. The 2 adhesive overpatches that came with it were not usable.

Perfect, and I really like the color variation. Works like it's supposed to.
