Great piece of kitchen equipment. I like the fact that the steak knives are included in the block. SO much more convenient.

I love this knife set. It is high quality with a modern look. I had a less expensive set, and the wood base started coming apart. The wood used is very good and the knives are of great quality. We were looking for a new knife set, as our old set was just too old. We were happy with our purchase. The knives are sharp, sturdy and look good. These will last us another 15 years.

My husband and I have wanted a set of good kitchen knives for a long time. After buying odd and end knives from various places, I decided to buy this set for him for Christmas. It ended up being a present for both of us. The knives are strong, durable, cut well, and easy to handle. They fit nicely in your hand, plus it looks nice on my countertop in the knife black. Everything I need is in one handy spot for easy access. I highly recommend this set to anyone!

Seems like it's impossible to get a set of really high-quality knives today. These look nice and were better quality than a cheap set I replaced but don't expect perfection. Each knife has some tiny flaws. The main big knife, shown standing in the picture, has rolls in the blade in a few spots, looks like a used knife almost. The tip region of the blade is sharp but, the mid sections and section closer to the handle is barely sharp, rather dull with multiple rolls in the edge.

Almost a year later and the knives are still just as awesome as first use! We put them in the dishwasher regularly and they are indeed dishwasher safe!
