I bought an aldi mini kamado a few months ago, it does not come with a deflector plate for indirect cooking so I searched around for something to act as one. I am a tight yorkshireman so I thought I know a cheeky little £2 cake tray should do the trick. Don't do it! it melted the coating from the tray made a right old stink and destroyed the cake tin. So after some research I found this, it looks good but being a tight sod I begrudgingly paid for it. It came a day later and when I opened it I was actually shocked, it's a very well made piece of kit, fits perfectly and does exactly what it is intended to do. Do I think it's a bit expensive? Yes, can i justify it for the job and how well it does it? absolutely! I hope you found this review helpful. Cheers Shaun

Paid extra for this, I know there's cheaper out there but they're thinner metal. So far, this has been great, I seasoned it like suggested online and have used it a handful of times. Does the job.

Dose its job well definitely recommend one for anyone using a mini kamado

Fits the Aldi Kamado (mini) just fine and works well. Not stainless steel though, just plain steel (it’s gone very rusty in just a week).

I am an owner of Kamado Bono grande and know already how to use it, but once bought Landmann kamado mini for bbq to travel wasn’t sure what to expect. It came without deflector so I started my researches and decided to order this deflector! I gave a go and hot smoked chicken breast was as expected, smoked & juicy! Highly recommend! 🙌

Brilliant fit and great deflector of heat but it's not stainless and starting to rust after one use
