Q: Does this come with everything needed to play the game? I have heard that you need to also have the Dominion base card set in addition to this set.

OK. It looks like Amazon has a couple different products pointing to the same Questions&Answers, which is causing the confusion (and is always a pain in the neck). I'm looking at "Rio Grande Games Dominion: 2nd Edition" (In the "Product information" section the ASIN# is B01LYLIS2U). If that is the same one you are looking at, it DOES come with everything you need because it is the base set.

Q: If you have the original is it worth it to buy this whole new game or just the expansion pack of this?

If you have the original already I would buy the update pack for it instead of the whole new game. (unless your money/victory cards are as worn out as mine were and you wanted an excuse to get a fresh set of those cards too :) )

Q: If I buy this game (2nd edition) Can i still buy seaside and hinterlands expansions, despite the expansions only being first edition?
