Well made, very durable, good likeness. Worth the cost. Has taken a lot of abuse from the kids , dropped, thrown, leaned on, stepped on etc, yet still looks almost new and still works perfectly .

So come on! Blatant mis-selling.. there is very little wood in this product. Other than that it's great, but stop trying to demonstrate you are ECO sure!!

A little expensive but good product. Took a while to arrive.

We have a bunch of the older versions of these trains from when they were called "wooden railway". Unfortunately there is no comparison with these new overpriced ones. These lack a lot of detail in the carving of the wood body as well as the coal piece that is now just painted on. The biggest difference of course, is the length of the trains. Henry should be longer than Thomas, but in this new version he is the same length if you do not count his tender. The only reason why I purchased this was because I've had no luck finding a second hand version of Henry for a while, and I wonder how much longer Henry will be a staple on the show, so I wanted at least one version of him. I recommend buying second hand first.In terms of play value, my 3 yo doesn't seem to mind this version even though we have the old version of Gordon. The magnets work as they should and the wood and paint have lasted so far, with rough play.
