Works well, still working...July 2015 - present ( December 2018 )!
Not sure why I didn’t put a review on this product that was purchased in July 2015. Anyhow, this ratcheting shears works VERY well, and still working after 3 years of regular use ( although dull and a bit slippy ). It’s why I’m buying another to replace it before it quits. Not sure why the bad reviews, either don’t know how to use or whatever...for the price YOU CANNOT GO WRONG.

They were cheaply made and not sturdy. Not easy to use
I returned these clippers. They were cheaply made and not sturdy. Not easy to use.

Disappointed
Not as sharp or durable as I expected. Took a while because it ships from overseas. I would not recommend.

Save some bucks, compare, then buy these.
Identical product to the ones that cost anywhere from $35 to $60. They work fine. The Japanese travel time is well worth the wait. There are better ones out there, but they are far more expensive. I own another one just like this (a different brand) so I have compared them side by side, not just in photos. Not merely a copy, they are exactly the same. They are comfortable, easy to use, sharp, and do precisely what they are supposed to do: easily cut branches that are too big for regular pruners.

Excellent pruners
These are very comfortable pruners to use. They cut through thick branches with little effort.
