Great little prop to use at party's although the hat is really for children as it is small and will just sit on top of an adult head. The voice is exactly the same as in the films and it had multiple different phrases. the animation is good but you can hear the motor whirring away which might be irritating to some. Bought whilst on offer so it was cheaper then RRP so good value.

My daughter loves it gets the family to wear it and finds out what we supposed to be . Worth money definitely recommend

If you love Harry Potter you will want one. It works well but is limited of course after a few goes with its sayings. It is the exact voice and it was an exciting addition to my daughter’s collection. I order led one and it took 6 weeks to arrive, it then had a German accent!!! I complained and sent it back and it took another 7 weeks to get another that did speak English (and French with a switch push) … So in short , good item , works well but if you’re not a fan and just want it then I would avoid. I bought this as a x mas present from r my daughter and she loves it.

I wanted one of these for a while, snapped it up at almost half price. One caveat; it alternates between speaking English and French ( which I find enchanting) but description explains this?…..

We had a Harry Potter themed Halloween event at work this year. We had witches/wizard hats and wands and a few other things, but I wanted something more for the kids to play with....something distinctly Harry Potter. I wasn't even thinking about getting a Sorting Hat, but when I saw this it struck me as being the perfect addition, and that was a heck of a good choice! During the event, kids enjoyed playing with all the Harry Potter things we had set up - the glasses, a golden snitch, etc. - but this hat was the star of the show! Nearly everyone tried it on and loved it! The hat is quite entertaining and the fact that it moves is amazing! Most people were pretty happy with whatever message they got, but occasionally we'd get funny reactions from people that didn't want to be in Hufflepuff or whatever it is they got. The one and only downside to this hat is that it doesn't stay on heads very well. It takes a little balance to keep it on your head, but this is understandable considering that it talks and moves. It was a small negative, but this was still much loved. Really, it was probably one of the best things we bought for the event! If you've got a little Harry Potter fan at home, or especially if you're hosting a Harry Potter themed event, I very highly recommend this!!!
