Nice, strong and secure connectors.
These heat activated solder shrink connectors work well, making secure butt connections. Please note that the proper amount of heat must be applied to activate/melt the solder. A heat gun is essential to properly use these connectors. Please also be aware hair dryer should not be used as a heating device, as it will not provide sufficient heat to melt the encapsulated solder. Once cooled, the connection is permanent and quite strong. I highly recommend these connectors.

Brilliant invention
Thes are awesome for me with my pontoon boat they are totally water proof and the solder melts the wires together I still use shrink wrap to cover them even tho you don't need to I just think it looks clean that way

Revolutionary
These are incredible. I have used these now for multiple applications, from a car to sprinkler wires to vending machines. Just carry a heat gun and short extension cord for most places and you're set. You do strip the wires farther than you usually would with a crimp. The only thing I will say somewhat as a warning is that they work way better with stranded wire than solid wire. I have had a couple instances where solid wire pokes a hole in the coupler and I have to start over. Other than that, these are easy to use, guarantee a solid connection, go waterproof, and make it so that the connection isn't a massive piece of plastic that you will be able to see even under shrinkwrap. If you cover the wire with shrinkwrap afterwards, you won't even notice that there is a splice in the wire

Great addition to wire repair toolbox.
All in all good. The smallest ones don't seem to solder as well as the larger ones. Still work, just seem to take a lot of heat to get the solder to flow. Heat shrink and sealant seems to be good on all of them. Definite must have for making clean wiring splice repairs.

Love these things. Never solder again.
These things are so cool. Best consistent butt connection I've ever been able to make. I use a heat gun with the narrow tip. You can burn through them if you're not careful. There is a fine line between hot enough to melt the solder ring and not melt the heat shrink. Once you get the hang of it you can do it every time. I lost his the little colored ring grips the wire too. You can kinda hit that part first to help hold the wire then hold it on the solder ring. I always do another layer of heat shrink just in case I burn through the one it's made of. I will definitely buy more of these. I hope they have different types of connectors in this same style. I do a lot of diy vehicle electrical work, these are my favorite now

HAZARDOUS RISK IF USED!!!!
Terrible! DO NOT BUY!!! If you buy these your risking your entire harness Or possibly your life safety, I tried 10 times to get various sizes in this kit to flow and fuse on fresh wires, I tried a heat gun & shield , multiple mini torches & a gas heater none worked these glue connections 90% of the time resulting in a fake fuse , tug a bit boom it rips the glue , these are garbage they give the illusion of a fuse and glue shrink but it’s a cloudy mess that won’t weld. Sure they’ll shrink & glue but the internal tin flows out uneven or wont penetrate the wire due to the mixture in the tin These are very very dangerous and a typical dice roll cheep product!!! I GUARANTEE PEOPLE USE THESE UNKNOWINGLY HEADED TOWARDS DISASTER!!!

Great option for 1 wire to 1 wire splicing.
I used the cordless DeWalt heat gun on high....say about 2" away from the splices. Forgot to use a reflector. Didn't burn or brown.....does take a good 30+ seconds to get the solder to melt. Mainly focus on the solder, and not the shrink tubing. The blue ones worked fine. When I was using one to one wire. But when I had to do 2 to 1 and used the large yellow...each one split....on the doubled up side. So I don't think they can handle uneven splices. Additionally. . when they split, the soldier is not "pushed" into the wore, so the soldier just pools up on the outside and doesn't bond. I didn't dock a star for this, as they work well....just not in this way (2 to 1 splice.....which the instructions don't even mention)

Great product. Amazon delivery not so great.
The product is great. Amazon delivered it to the wrong unit in my mobile home community. Luckily the person at the wrong address took it to the office instead of keeping it.

I've used these in both my newer truck and classic vehicles for a nice soldered waterproof connection as opposed to typical crimping joiners. They come out thinner and look way cleaner. The preferred method of these is a heat gun as opposed to a lighter. Be advised: do not overheat or the solder will blow out the end, I tested this first to get the hang of it. They are very simple, heat until the solder starts to melt then remove the heat right away and then your done 👍

makes the job done fast , instead of doing your connection with the old way , just use this product and you will see how solid the connection will be. Note : you need a heat gun to use this product.

Wish I knew about these years ago. Makes splices, particularly those that are exposed to the weather (i.e. automotive) quick and easy. Highly recommended.

IT IS NICE TO USE BUT IT NEED TOO MUCH TIME TO MELT THE LEAD SO THE PLASTIC MELT FIRST.
