These are really cute and surprisingly sturdy for the price. They did have a chemical odor upon arrival, but it faded within a week. They laundered well in a mesh laundry bag on a delicate cycle and air dried overnight prior to testing. The fit is fairly tight as expected. My situation doesn’t always make it possible to tolerate the pressure of a brace, but these will be good to have on hand when I need them. The fabric is thick enough to be durable. They’re not too difficult to put on if you fold them and get them on your heel before unfolding them over your ankle. Pulling them on like socks would be possible if you don’t have an injury or pain, but you need to be more careful if injury or pain are present. These feel like they will provide support for the ankle and foot and they should help provide stability. Pain relief would depend on your situation and ability to tolerate compression. Ordering different sizes of ankle braces often helps so that you have options, depending on your level of pain each day. These are cheap enough to enable people to do this. Having different sizes to choose from can mean the difference between a comfortable day and a day of whimpering with every step. I learned this the hard way. Now, I’m doing it the smart way.

This is a great compression sock. It is breathable and made of soft material. It did a little big for me but I'm glad I did order a size up because by the end of the day it fit perfectly!

Sprained my ankle pretty bad. Ace bandage works but takes for ever changing it out. These socks worked great for me. Bought 2 pairs so 4 socks. I wash in laundry lay out to dry. I sized up to XL sizing states Im a large, too tight to get on over swollen area.

When I received these, I wasn’t sure they would work for my issues with edema in my ankles, but I decided to give them a try and I can honestly say They worked like a miracle. I wore them for the duration of one day and one night, and the results to the reduction of my swelling could almost be said to be amazing. I’ve tried many different kinds of ankle compression items in the past and these are by far the best and because of their very affordable pricing, I just ordered two more pairs. The only suggestion I have for the manufacturers would be to place their name, perhaps on the bottom of the foot section instead of the top of the stocking, thus allowing them to be worn on more occasions and blend in with the clothing being worn. Granted that idea is more of a female thing, but it might help sell more also. Having said that I can honestly say I highly recommend purchasing days because they work and that’s what really matters.
