I was rather hesitant to order this skull because it was only 1/3 of the price of similar items from more well known brands. But I am really enjoying using this and it demonstrates cranial nerve paths, blood vessels, and superficial facial muscles. I purchased it originally to have a 3-D visual of facial muscles to help me when doing manual therapy. But since I have been also studying for an upcoming cranial nerves class, I am finding it invaluable for helping to visualize along with my text books, the location of the cranial nerves. I got the one with the removable brain, which is about $20 more, but offers the added detail I need. I thought it might seem lightweight and cheaply made, but I did not find that to be the case.
