Where is this item manufactured?

I have ordered and used both 24" and 36" products. When I researched, these TEKTON products are manufactured in Michigan. Oops, Dan is correct. Maybe once upon a time they were manufactured in Michigan; they are currently made for TEKTON in China.

can these hold clmaping pressure indefinitely? without relief?

I would say yes. The pressure that is applied is held into release clip is engaged. I have used these clamps for 48hrs. at a time in application of veneer.

How thick is the spreader? Would I be able to slide a 1/2" pvc pipe onto it? (for a table display)

I presume you want to slide the pipe onto(over) the bar. If so, 1/2" is a mite small. The bar is about 3/4" wide. The pressure pads (one moves - other is fixed, Red in this pic) are even larger. Thx.

Can you buy replacement jaws had mine brake

although this is inexpensive it is also cheaply made. Spend the extra money and buy from Lowe's
