Great quality trailer!
UPDATE: I've had this trailer for nine months now. I ran into a problem a few months back, a wheel came apart. It separated at the bead seal, the sidewall of the rim actually separated from the rest of it. Of course the tube instantly blew too. Luckily it happened very close to home, so I took off the tire and just pulled it back on the rim. After a phone call InStep overnighted a new pair of wheels, tires and tubes. I wanted them to upgrade them to the aluminum rims from another trailer, but they were concerned about the fitment. After about two weeks of phone tag, they tried out the metal rims on this model in their warehouse to make sure it would work, and it did. They then sent me the metal rims, as well as the tires and tubes to fit the larger size.So far I have put over a thousand miles on this trailer, and comfortably hit speeds in the twenties on descents. I have moved to Kentucky since I bought it, and I am a little worried that the sides won't seal well enough for really cold weather this winter, but that's the only concern I have. Also, I apply waterproofing spray every couple of months, and have had no issues in the rain. There are places for water to get in, it's not a sealed capsule or anything, but the kiddo stays dry inside.I've had this trailer for a few weeks now, and put over 250 miles on it. I've pulled it with a mountain bike and a road bike. It's noticeable back there, but it only slowed me down about 2mph or so.The seat is great, my 18 month old daughter is quite happy for an hour at a time. I haven't tried much longer, she gets bored after much more. It's very sturdy. I can put her (30 pounds) and some groceries in behind her with no problems.Very easy to fold up. I store it in the back of my suv folded with the wheels still on, and unfold it when it's time to go ride.I've ridden in light rain and my daughter stayed dry. The floor did get damp from water thrown by my bikes rear wheel though. I'm going to apply some camping waterproof spray to the outside bottom to minimize this. A rear fender helps too.All in all, I love this trailer, and my kid does too!

InStep Sierra Double Bike Trailer Is Great!
We purchased the In-Step Sierra Double Bike Trailer last summer (2012) and it has worked out great! Since, I am a frugal individual, cost was a big factor. However, safety/sturdiness were the major decision points. This has proven to be all three! We love, that it only takes a minute to fold it down, for easy travel in the vehicles (and storage.) Our two youngest kids (1 and 4 yrs old) love going for rides and with the mesh screen we don't need to worry about them getting small rocks shot at them from the bike tires. They both seem to be very comfortable. The 4-point harness seat-belts are similar to their car seats, which is good. and they have enough storage space on each side (for little stuffed travel animals or superheroes.)I completely forgot to come back here and write a review last season and was only reminded, when we needed to purchase an additional "Coupler Attachment" for the Trailer. Since, last year we kept transferring the one it comes with, back and forth from my bike to my wife's bike. Hey, for $8 bucks I won't need to keep pulling out the socket-wrench to switch it when it is the others persons turn to pull the trailer. Which brings me to towing... it is like they are hardly even there! Easy to pull, but just like any other good parent. I keep looking back to make sure they are still there, since you can hardly feel the weight of the trailer while riding. If I were to suggest items that need to be improved. I wish it came with a storage bag. Like I mentioned before, it folds down quickly and easily, but there are always 3 loose wheels sliding around in the back of the vehicle (since, the wheels are removable.) We kept the original box for winter storage, which is useful. My wife said, she is going to make (sew) a "back-pack" for it. So, she can take it in and out of the back of the vehicles and make it easier to transport all the disassembled pieces.Beyond that. We have used it to stroller (push) the kids around, it is sturdy enough for that. However, if you want a jogging stroller. This is probably not the wisest choice. Though you can probably use it for that. We just have a different one, for those purposes. In short, We love it. Great purchase. Excellent price. Safe. Sturdy. We would recommend it.
