Q: I have a small lava rock wall approx 6x9’Would the 16oz bottle be enough?

Lava rock tends to be more of a porous surface. We recommend you doing a porosity test before starting the project. Take a small amount of water and apply it to the surface. If it takes 5-10 seconds to soak in completely, then your surface is very porous. However, if the water sits on the surface and takes time to soak in, it is considered more of a dense surface. The DOMINATOR STONE+ 16 ounce covers up to 125 square feet and only needs one coat. If the surface is more porous you will need more sealer to complete the job.

Q: Will this work well as a good sealer for a bathtub?

I used it outside in my covered patio on built in bar b w stone. I cannot imagine using it on that BUT, it’s definitely quality product. If it lists tubs I would trust company. They have other products. Maybe there’s another more suitable for a tub with is obviously exposed to much more water. Good luck!

Q: Can it be applied with a brush?

We recommend you apply this with a sprayer and use a nap roller to back roll.

Q: Does this product make Mexican and terra-cotta tile waterproof

I’m pretty sure it would make a surface water proof. Rain, dew, etc. beads and rolls off my treated stone. Hope this helps.
