Great, sturdy, and retains original color
These pants are similar to the Propper polyester/cotton rip stop pants, but wider at the ankle and roomier in the crotch. The Tru-Spec poly/cotton pants, as well as the Propper brand poly/cotton pants, have held up to at least 15 washing cycles and have not deteriorated or lost their rich black color at all. I've owned the 100% cloth version of the Tru-Spec pants and they were very disappointing in this regard. Whereas the Tru-Spec poly/cotton holds up to multiple washing, the 100% cotton version had started to show a great deal of color fading and started to look shabby after 8-10 washing cycles. The poly/cotton fabric is also sturdy and comfortable. Being a big man, these are my go-to pants for work and recreation because of the quality construction and roominess. I highly recommend them.

Better than my expectations
Wow! I love the look and feel of these pants. I'll certainly buymore. I expected them to be pants I'd wear to the range etc... I found they are much nicer and look better and I'll wear them much more. The rip stop material is more pliable and less denim like. I guess I expected the style of my old issue BDU nylon and instead find them an upgrade. The material is tough a will be durable yet it is nicer looking. I'm planning to buy more pairs in more colors. I love cargo pants because I find the back pockets of pants a pain in the... Well you get what I mean. So I drop my wallet etc... into the cargo pocket and drive on. These pants are nice enough to wear for casual Friday and will hold up to range trips to boot. I can't give six stars so instead I'll just give them repeat business! 11/14/15 After numerous wash and wear cycles, they still look like new. They've resisted stains including mustard, I like lots of mustard, and come out of the drier ready to go without wrinkles. They're my go to pants for going out and about.

TRU-SPEC vs. Propper
I like these pants. I bought one pair of these and one pair of the Propper. Same size. Both are good pants. There are a few differences. The Propper's are tapered towards the ankle so there a tighter look to them. The TRU-SPEC's were baggier at the ankle. The Propper brand is also tighter in the seat and crotch area, not uncomfortanble but the TRU-SPEC are noticebly baggier there as well. The material on the TRU-SPEC's is a slightly softer but I wouldn't say the Propper's are rough. Because of TRU-SPECs bagginess and softness, I think the Proppers look crisper. Both have held up well for the last 2 months. Additional note: It has been 4 months of wearing these both pairs interchangeably with regular washings. They both look to be in the same shape as before. I have noticed on both pairs the cuffs by the ankle have dragged on the ground at some point and have become scraped up and threaded. I do not use the ties on the cuffs and removed the ties early on. The scrapes seem more so on the TRU-SPECs and that would be expected since they are looser. I am also not using boots with either of these so that more than likely is the reason. 8 month update: So far so good still. Both are holding up well and I used them everyday. 3 things that I noticed. 1: the top button of the TRU-SPECs popped off about 2 months ago. I could resew it but have been lazy and just tighten my belt over it. 2: Both pairs have side cinches that will tighten the pant's waist in place of or in assistance with a belt. The Tru-Specs hold in place but the Proppers uncinch if I squat. Speaking of squatting, 3: the other day I was doing yard work and it wasn't bad when I began but became humid as the day progressed. When I squatted in the Proppers it was very tight around the knee and leg area because of the sweat. I assume it its because the proppers are not as baggy as the Tru-specs. I have not worn the Tru-specs and squatted in them while sweating so I cannot compare.

Great multicam pants for great price
Multicam BDU pants. First I'd like to say that the seller got these to me almost two days earlier Than the estimated delivery date. Thankyou LA police gear for that! I ordered medium regular and they fit pretty well. I wear a 30x32 in jeans. They are a little baggy in the legs but overall a good fit. I'm use to tactical and military stuff not fitting me as well as I'd like. I am 5'9 and 130 pounds. This stuff always seems to be made for larger dudes. Other than that they are fantastic. I see no problems. They compare well to my other 511 pants. Only real difference is that the 511 ones have many more pockets. Can't complain though cause these are like $30 cheaper. Overall I think they will be great.

These pants are literally all I wear
I have simplified my wardrobe to just have brown TRU-SPEC BDU pants for casual wear, they are amazing. the pairs that I have bought have all lasted well past their expected lifetime, some pairs are 8 years old and still look rather new despite extensive use and hundreds of washings. I recently bought a new pair in a smaller size since I have lost a lot of weight recently and needed something that fit better. The only weak point on these pants are the built in waist-adjusting tabs. They will usually last a couple years, but they are the first (and only) thing that has ever worn out on a set of these that I own. No matter, because its usually only one that breaks, and the other will be enough to go without a belt. However, you can always just use a normal belt and be back in business. Great product!
