Worked Perfectly
My late-2013 iMac was running short on USB ports, so I purchased this to convert one USB port into two. Connected the 2.0 port to my USB 2.0 Hub, which worked perfectly, and connected the 3.0 port to my Pioneer CD burner player, which also worked perfectly. No issues, and I now have an extra one!

Unique & Functional Cable!
Get two functional ports from one without adding the latency of a hub! Be aware that you cannot insert a USB 3.0 device in the 2.0 port - or vice versa. I only wish it were shorter - 3 or 6 inches long instead of 12 inches. The inaccurate photo makes the cable look deceivingly short.
