Oceanic Atom 2.0 Battery Kit

Needed it fast for a dive trip and wanted to change the o ring. It was a 2430 NOT a 2450. Yes could've bought the battery cheaper but again wanted to change the o ring and didn't have time to try to find one to fit. Also couldn't get the special removal tool on prime and it did not come with the watch. Used two golf tees to turn it while my son held the watch. It turned and we popped the lid off. Works like a champ!

Fitment is a little confusing after the merger of Aeris and Oceanic. Took some digging around on the web, but figured out that this is the correct kit for my Aeris Manta dive watch/computer. Shipped via prime like clockwork, and arrived in plenty of time for my dive trip, even on short notice.

In case it's not clear, this is a repair shop packaging, without all the wasted hard plastic bubble pack, which is a good thing. The battery was half discharged in this case, but that's likely a fluke. This is a good value for getting the O-ring and silicon grease. The battery you can get anywhere.

How do you write a review about a battery? Well this item is the manufactures recommended item, it is a tad more expensive then you can find on ebay, but this will not void the warantee. Personally when it comes to a 700$ dive computer I recommend not saving a couple dollars with something as critical as the O-ring to keep water out of your watch. Easy to open packaging, easy replacement, and everything that is needed comes with the box, including the Oceanic card stock that doubles as an "Original O-Ring removal tool." Remember to try to "hot" swap batteries within 8 seconds to keep all your old data.

At first I thought the o-ring was too big for the Geo 2, and sought to return the item, but realized my mistake before actually doing the return. Kudos to the seller, though, for accommodating a customer and accepting the return request even when there was in fact nothing wrong with the product!

Perfect fit for my Geo 2.0, it came with O ring and Lube. I had the removal tool that came with my Geo and changing the battery was super easy.

Good product, but requires separate tool to open the watch (came in original box). Worth buying this brand name to make sure you don’t damage your expensive dive watch.

Product is okay but very overpriced for what you get.
