Good nail grinder
I purchased this on a whim. I am glad I did. I charged it and used it on my dogs today. They hate their nails being clipped but took this fairly well for their first time. It was much easier. For those of you who have long haired dogs beware of their whiskers while using. My doggie got his whiskers caught in the trimmer. It was easy to pull the hair out. I like that this machine is quiet and even on a lower speed setting, gets the job done. It comes with a lifetime warranty which is nice. I haven’t used it so it remains to be seen how good customer service is. The only thing that needs improvement is the instruction manual needs to be rewritten by someone who speaks English. It isn’t the worst translation job I have seen but it’s not great. For someone who has never used one of these before well written instructions would be nice. Overall, a great machine at a good price. It came with a charging cord too! This will make it so much easier for me to keep my dogs’ nails the right length. I would recommend this nail grinder.

A Godsent product! I 1000% recommend it.
This a solid product, well thought out, battery endurance is amazing, not much noise so your furry friend won't be scared. Easy to use, this saved my life, I have a rescued hairless Peruvian and Shitzu mix, and she HATES nail clippers, she can't see them close to her. I even bought at the same time I bought this grinder a guillotine-style nail clipper to try that one also, but nothing, she hated also. But then, I tried the Casifor Nail Grinder, and she was fine with it, not afraid of it. I could give it 10 stars out of 5. This is more suitable for her also because her nails are black, and but a nail clipper, one mistake is your last with that dog, they'll hate it. With the nail grinder, you can see the progress and where to stop when you see you are close to the quick. If you are looking for a great nail grinder, this is the one.

Great and quiet dog nail grinder
We bought this item as a means to start maintaining our dogs nails. We have two 80lb shepherd mix dogs with big paws. Neither one of them have ever enjoyed having their nails trimmed and sometimes we've slipped and accidentally cut their quick, which is something I never wanted to do again. I did some research and read reviews on a quiet nail grinder and came across this one. The price was right for me to try it out and I have to say I'm happy with the results. The motor really is a LOT quieter than I expected. I have a dremel tool I use for a variety of things, so thought this would be similarly loud. It is NOT. It's MUCH quieter and does a decent job of grinding down our dogs nails. The challenge is more with our dogs than with the tool. The sound doesn't bother them but the vibration created by the grinder is something they don't appreciate, so they tend to try to pull their paws away. The grinder itself works very well, super quiet and has a nice light to help illuminate the nail (full disclosure, this wasn't that helpful for me as I trim their nails in full daylight). It also comes with a removable head with two different openings depending on your dog's nail size and trimming needs. I really like that it's rechargeable and only takes a few hours to do. So far, I've been able to do one dog on a charge, mostly b/c of the their massive nails that take a bit to grind down, AND their unwillingness to sit still the entire time. :) This package also comes with a set of clippers which I did not use, so won't comment on here. The price is great, the grinder is super quiet and works well, although it takes a little longer for bigger nails, which is fine for my use. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and hope it continues to last for a long time.

Top quality rotary tool quiet and silky smooth running
Really quiet running. Great bearings. Low vibration. This is an excellent tool. My dogs don't care. They still hate getting their nails worked on but this is a very high end rotary tool and much better than anything dremmel makes. I know i have many dremmels for working on stuff.

Cut at the Alternative Cut Line! Great while it lasted. Unresponsive seller.
Some tips: 1. Do NOT grind a lot at once, especially if you haven't done your dog's nails in a long time. Grinding once a month is not enough and will keep the quicks long. Frequently grinding will push back the quick. We typically do once every 7-10 days. 2. Slowly introduce the grinder to your dog. Ex) Tap each nail with the grinder off and praise every time. Our dogs now love nail grinding time since they get lots of treats (carrots). 3. Cut at the ACL (Alternative Cut Line) instead of just grinding from the bottom. There's a great fb group "Nail Maintenance for Dogs" with lots of resources. 4. Don't hold it on a nail for too long since the nail gets hot. A few seconds on each nail, rotate. Pros: - This nail grinder was great while it lasted- about 2.5 years. At first, the battery life was very good and we could do several sessions without having to charge. - The diamond-bit was strong, and it lasted much longer than a dremel bit head. - It was nice to have completely adjustable speeds than only a few speed options. - The sound was not that loud either. - The light was a very nice feature. It didn't make our dogs' black nails completely see-through, but it helped us estimate where the quick could be. Cons: - Battery not replaceable - The seller advertises a lifetime warranty, but is unresponsive. I will still purchase this product again since it's much cheaper than a groomers appointment and our dogs are less stressed.

Great product! I have been using clippers for at least 10 years. This is well made and extremely easy to use. The girls are fine with it. Low noise, very little vibration. We have one small anxious dog, and she was fine!

I received this product yesterday after ordering over weekend and was excited to test it. I cut my dog's quick when she was a puppy and since then she ran away whenever she saw nail scissors despite several attempts of desensitisation. To be honest I was worried about using those again in case I cut the quick again. So for a good few years I've been filing her nails which as you can imagine took absolute ages. I have been wondering about getting a Dremel for them (as recommended by nail maintenance groups on Facebook) however have been putting it off due to the price and not knowing if my dog would be ok with the sound, feeling etc. In the meantime I brought a "Dremel" from aldi to try, which was very loud and she wasn't keen on it (and then it burnt after using it for the second time on a DIY project). Anyway, I decided to try this product as it was quite cheap so if it wasn't a hit I wouldn't be too upset. Well, I've got to say I'm really impressed. Not only it arrived really quickly, it is good weight, quiet, not too big to hold and manouver around your dogs nails. I was able to do all of her back nails in a couple of minutes and she wasnt scared of it (could be due to previous attempts at desensitisation to the Aldi tool). So so far I am very impressed and wish I'd bought it sooner! I also saw a little cardinside of the box which said something about a lifetime warranty, but not read it fully yet (however sounds promising!). Anyway, I would definitely recommend - I think that it's a great little tool to use with some desensitisation and regular breaks to ensure it doesn't get too hot and scare your dog off!
