I am wondering how far from the wall this sits (as in how deep)? If I could get the depth of the bend at the top that'd be peachy!

The depth of the bend is 4 inches. To be stable you would probably be close to 12 inches from wall at bottom.

Is the ladder water resistant if I place it outdoor (e.g balcony)?

It has some untreated wood and some exposed pieces of metal that I would guess are not weather proofed.

Is this suitable for hanging blankets on all 5 rungs? All th blankets we have are full adult size so want to make sure it will not topple over

Hanging the blankets won’t be a problem. They might look a bit bulky if they are large. I don’t think it will topple if you have the right angle but when you pull them off you have to be mindful you don’t pull from the sides but straight on. It’s very light.
