I have this mounted on the floor (deck) of my boat directly under my trap puller. The line comes in from the sea, over the roller on the puller, down to the deck, then back up. It seems silly, but when I retrieve my traps I pull UP on the line, not down. And because the line is on the floor I can cleat it off by just stepping on it when I need both hands. I’m set up like this to exercise a different set of muscles in my arms. I’m pulling in and down 600-900 ft of line in the back of the boat when retrieving my longlines and float lines, so this is a nice switch up for an old dude. This pulley might actually be stainless, because it’s not a rusty mess yet. It rolls smoothly, hasn’t broken and was pretty inexpensive as these things go.

Worked well to hang plants on a high ceiling. Run smoothly and my plants are easily lowered and raised the heavy weight and my skinny arms.

I purchased a set of these for a DIY kayak hoist/lift in my garage. Mounting points are beefy, and it was easy to attach lag screws up through the ceiling joists to mount them. Rollers spin freely with zero issues. Tough to beat the price.

I will use this to counterweight an x-ray tube. I like that it is all stainless and seems sturdy. I am using 1/8 stainless wire rope. It works just fine.

My application was to hang relatively heavy and delicate aquarium lights to be controlled by a linear actuator. Stand alone, to me, the pulley is a work of art. It was by far more than what I needed. This product performed for my application smooth andflawlessly.

Used this and two HF cable winches to lift something heavy while assembling. Worked perfect. I was at 300 pounds split between both.
