Saves money and dishes!
We have very hard water. I used to use l e m o n shine to get the film off my dishes, but it was pretty pricey. My neighbor was about to get a new dishwasher, thinking it was a bad one, I told her about this citric acid, they saved 600 bucks and still have the same dishwasher 3 yrs later. Now I just throw a tablespoon of this in my dishwasher and it gets the dishes crystal clear. I also use it in my window washing solution for outside, it helps a ton and a great price!

Great preservative
I add this to gummy candies as a preservative. You don't need much. I mix a solution of three parts water to one part potassium sorbate, then add 8 mL of that to a batch of gummies. I haven't gotten mold yet, even after storing for 3 months or more. I recommend.

So much Sorbate!
Purchased this to stabilize my mead for backsweetening and it did the job super well! That being said, I totally didn't have any context for JUST. HOW. MUCH. Potassium Sorbate I was about to buy! It's a good problem to have, having too much of this stuff on hand since I'll just be ready for future batches, but be aware that this is likely about 3-4 CUPS of Potassium Sorbate by volume.

Stabilized my cider
Be careful how much of this you add to anything, because it imparts a terrible bitter flavor. Use the absolute minimum necessary.

Food grade
It's food grade and very well packaged for shipment. I purchased this for use in homemade bath and body products I make for my family and friends, as a part of my preservation method. I don't like to use preservatives, so I usually use natural preservatives leucidal liquid SF (radish ferment) and amticide coconut (coconut derived) as my preservatives, but certain products I whip up, just need more protection and to lengthen the shelf life. I chose this food grade preservative. It's easy to work with and so far, so good, on doing it's job. I use it in very small amounts and notice no added scent in my products. Which I was very surprised about, because an aloe vera juice I had purchased that is marketed for consumption, contained it, and really made my products have an off chemical odor, even when used in small amounts. I threw it out and the two things I made with it. I had ordered the preservative free, as I usually do, but received the one with preservatives. But this potassium sorbate doesn't give the homemade item a bad scent. Nobody has had any problems with skin irritation. I apologize if you're looking at this product for use in food, I have no experience with using potassium sorbate in food.

Cheaper than Lorann brand p sorbate, does the job
If you make "medicated" gummies, or even regular ones for squares, get this. Far cheaper than the Lorann brand pre-mixed liquid and does the same thing. Mix one part granules with two parts water and use 1/4 tsp per 1/2 cup of water/juice/whatever liquid you use. Makes gummies shelf-stable!
