Amazing!!
I don't even know how to start writing this review. Lisa Helen Gray is an amazing author, who I have loved since I was 18, I'm now 24 and still if not more in love with her writing.Charlotte is such a sweetheart, and I was so curious as to who would be her love match and how her story would develop. Before I get into the spoilers, I do want to point out to those who don't want to read further and be spoiled is that Charlotte is an amazing read, I laughed, cried, and overall fell in love with the characters further. Drew, her love interest is a hot piece and one that is just as dreaming on the inside as he is on the outside. It has beautiful character development and as always the Carters are as alive as ever on the page. If you're thinking of reading Charlotte, then please do! You won't be disappointed.**SPOILERS**For those that want to be spoiled or have read Charlotte then this is for you. I hadn't really read the blurb for Charlotte before reading, I just saw that Lisa had released another book and jumped onto it, I was so excited. When I started to read, Charlotte has a boyfriend, who is manipulative, controlling, and abusive towards her. Charlotte wanting her dream family of her own has settled with him and has been so manipulated into thinking that his behavior is normal because she is so desperate for her ideal family and ultimate dream. At the beginning of the book, Charlottes Boyfirned manipulates her into having sex with him, which eventually results in him being rough and not stopping when Charlotte begs him to. This incident sets the tone of the book and creates a realistic view of survivors of abuse and their internal feelings. She feels like she has disappointed her family, and Drew, her amazing love interest breaks her out of her internal bubble and into the world again. As someone who has had an abusive ex, I was scared when I first read the first couple of chapters, I was nervous about how it would play out and how it would be talked about. You don't recognize the abuse, you believe that they love you and they are doing what's best. I was so happy to know that Charlottes Journey reflected a realistic and heartbreaking reality for so many. It was clear to readers that what Charlotte had gone through was NOT her fault and that she had a natural and heartbreaking reaction to the abuse.Lisa Helen Gray is an amazing author that brings life to her characters and her plots. She brings light and life to each book that she writes, all being so different but still has the love of the Carter family at its center. If you have not decided yet whether to read Charlotte or not, I hope after this review and many others that you'll change your mind, and at least give them a go. You won't be disappointed, and I'm sure that you will fall in love with the Carters, just like the rest of us.

Harrowing But Also Uplifting!πππππ₯π
I Loved This Couple.ππ₯ππCharlotte (A Next Generation Carter Brother Novel Book #6)I've always liked Charlotte but found her naivete a bit baffling, her being a Cater! This book made see her in a different light, one filled with a love of life & willingness to try anything, even if it hurt her. I realised that's strength & bravery not naivete!πͺπAfter trying to bend herself into someone she isn't, for the man she's seeing, she makes a mistake & he refuses to stop then hurts her even further.ππ She escapes & goes to find her bestie Landon but he's not at the gym, his partner is, Drew. He calms her down & takes her to her parents. Drew & Charlotte strike up a friendship, she feels safe around him even if he is tattooed giant full of muscle - he's hot!π₯πTime shows her ex wasn't who claimed to be. No one can find him. Charlotte is being threatened via poems & the ominous flower arrangements they're attached to.π³πΉDrew is becoming more attached to her and her quirky outlook on life.πI adored this couple & loved their book. I'm so glad I got to meet Charlotte in a deeper way. Drew's character & family were excellent. His Dad's side were great his Mum's not so much!π I did like Allison though. I loved the ladies from Tease. They're funny, clever, sassy & strong.π I can't get enough of stories from this world!ππDebbie, 1970, UK

Well that took my breath away .
I have read all of this series and this one really touched my heart. Charlotte is such a living soul and she is very well scripted throughout the story. Yes the sexy scenes are great but the overall story was lovely and the Carter family are just the best. Max and Harley,London and the other God they made me laugh especially towards the end and the library scene. "I need to get my dictionary" " you can't read a cereal box" so funny. I'm also pleased about Charlotte baking phew. Just read it.

The one we've been waiting for! Beautiful and Amazing!
If you're a long time Carter fan, this is the one we have been waiting for.Lisa never ceases to amaze me. The writing. The stories. The creativity. The emotions. The Carter's. She has a way of sucking you in from the very first page and has you hooked. The emotional rollercoaster this book took me on was incredible. It held me at the edge of my seat, heart in my throat. I cried... a lot (and this was by chapter 3!), I smiled, I laughed and I loved!I have been obsessed with the Carter's from the beginning and as always, as soon as Lisa releases a book, I'm straight onto the Kindle store and buying it. I don't need to read the blurb to know that I'll love it and that it'll be another book that finds a way to lodge itself in my heart permanently. The Carter's have done that, each and everyone of them.Charlotte was everything expected and so so so much more.If I could give more than 5 stars, no question about it, it would be given. I highly recommend this book and the whole series! They are a beautiful must read.Thank you for yet another amazing installment in the Carter series.
