Predrill your holes and you wont have any issues. Great price and they worked great.

These were very easy to install, especially with the attachment that comes with it. The electric wire for the anti-critter fencing slips easily into the slots in each one, and they can be turned to any angle needed to take the fence wire around corners or up and down. Just slip the wire in the slots and it stays put.
