where it says 3/8", think 9.5 mm, where it says 1/2", think 12 mm, and 1/4 is a LOT smaller like maybe 5 mm, BUT perfect for making some hearty nice fresh hash browns, which was actually a big plus, imo. Cutting potatoes was AWESOME. I've purchased a number of various Vevor products. It cut fries for 9 mm easy and while being slightly bigger than 1/4" fries, they were just dandy cooked in the air fryer after a light toss in some veggie oil. I like smaller fries as the fatter ones don't cook as well in the air fryer. Was a piece of cake to assemble AND it cleaned up super easy. It was packed from the factory really well. This was an awesome investment. Dicing? We won't bother even trying it as it would be a pain to line up, but I won't mind finishing that on a cutting board. I love how it was designed and is a well built Kitchen aid, imo. 1st time fries, did it on wax paper, next time will put it in a bake pan so can oil the fries or hash browns. We'll also likely just prep some in advance and freeze them after they're lightly oiled and salted. This was one of my better ideas to invest in and worth every penny. I did make too many fries the 1st time, so a little veggie oil and into the freezer in a qt baggie for next time. It was definitely still a 5 star investment.

Works great endlessly French fries anytime!!! Several sizes easy to chop. My kids love when i pull out the fry press and get to cooking fresh fries. So much better than store bought.

I love this item. It works great and helps people like me who can’t chop or cut vegetables, onions, etc. easily due to severe arthritis in the hands / fingers but it was missing a rubber piece on one of the long to pieces made for safety. Looked into getting a replacement piece but I only had the option to return and replace the entire item. That’s too much to have to drive 20 or miles to take the original back to a return location so I’m dealing with the missing piece as shown in the picture. Doesn’t affect how it works so it’s not worth it to me to return and replace for one safety rubber piece. I just have to be cautious to not get stabbed by that part. Otherwise I love it.

I had to make a large amount of fries for a big group. Was I surprised at how easy and fast this was. It was so much fun I wanted to keep doing more !!!!! 😉🙂. Price is so worth it. It is made really well and very sturdy !! I’m sure I will have this for A LONG TIME !! The first potato I thought it was a little hard, but the second on were so fast and easy. Watch YouTube and it will be a breeze. I had 2 men trying to figure it out without instructions , then I watched YouTube and they had it on wrong 😂😂😂😂. So much for men know everything !! 😂😂. I have used the fries so far. I really want to try the apple one. I want to see what else I can use it for. If any of you come up with any ideas could you please share them with us. I wonder if this could be used to cut fresh pineapple after you cut off the outside That will probably be one of my things to do ?!?!?!😜.

By doing this, we calculated that a one-pound bag of frozen carrots, which typically costs $1 to $1.50, equated to savings of about $35 for us. The chopping process was made smoother as the kids pitched in to help peel and bag the carrots, and we managed to finish everything within an hour, thanks to the efficiency of the chopper. I had a horizonal fry maker that took a LOT of strength to use whereas this particular vertical model is damn near effortless on the largest potato being sold. It aslo rinses off with ease with hardly ever any bit of stuck potato is still in the blade. By far not the least expensive but the very best. I make french fries 3-5 times a week.
