Not For Singer 457
Did not fit our Singer model 457. Shaft was too large to fit into spool pin hole. You will need a 3/16" (.1875") diameter pin for it to work. Product seems well built.

Fits my Singer Heavy Duty 4411
I got my sewing machine second hand and it was missing the spool pin. This product arrived as described and fit my Singer Heavy Duty 4411 perfectly.

Fit my Singer Heavy Duty 4411 machine
I inexplicably lost the vertical spool pin that came with my machine, and these are a fine replacement for anyone in a similar predicament. A sturdy, snug fit in the hole for the pin, and there was absolutely no worry that it would fly off during use. I would recommend these pins as a replacement (or extra backups!) in Heavy Duty machines.

Holds thread spool w/o wobbling
My new Singer machine had one, but I wanted spares. They are plastic so you never know if one might break. Just a safety precaution. Do like how it keeps thread spool from wobbling.

Was advertising my model number but did not fit my machine
Was supposed to use it for my singer's song machine but it had my part number But never did fit my machine So how to send it back very disappointed can't find one to fit That's why I rated it a one Definitely should make sure that fits the model numbers that you are recommending
