This is a great baby book for the parent that wants to record ...
This is a great baby book for the parent that wants to record something, but may be (like me) not the most timely with getting it done. The pages are fairly simple and don't ask for a lot of detailed writing, which when you have more than one kid to wrangle, is a blessing. This is for my second-born and the first baby book I got him had so many prompts to write in, I just stopped working on it after a few months. This book has a spot for a photo at each month and two little open-ended prompt boxes "Favorite Things" and "A Special Memory". I can easily look through my phone photos after the fact to jump start my memory to fill in that information! I really like that this book is more focused on the photo capturing, both seasons and milestones as well as a portion in the back that is open-ended. My "baby" is almost a year old and I know I can easily have this put together in time for his party! You won't regret getting one. And the illustrations are darling too!

The perfect baby book for LGBTQ couples or people adopting
I bought this as a gift for my daughter and her wife as they were adopting a child. It is great because it uses the phrase "Your Parents" rather than "Mommy and Daddy", so it can be used for same sex couple, single parents or hetero couples. It has the cutest pages and pictures and lots of space for writing all you want to remember. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great and baby book with really fun pages. My daughter has a woodland animals themed nursery and this fit in perfectly with that theme. It's also gender neutral enough so you can use it for a boy or girl.

Perfectly Simple!
I was very hesitant to buy a baby book (especially at this price) for my third child, knowing how little time and energy I’d have to fill it. But I really wanted something to stamp his footprints in, and this one was so adorable. I love, love, love it! It’s SO simple- it’s perfect! None of those complicated pages where you record every tooth or growth charts. Just the important things! The firsts, and lots of photos. I do add his weight and length on the months that he had a doctors appointment. There are pages for various religious holidays, depending on your culture. Rather than tear out those that don’t pertain to us, I’m just filling them with photos. Even my husband enjoys writing in and reading this book. It’s wonderful!

Cute Baby Book
This is cute and super user friendly. It isn't for scrapbookers, but it's a fast book to mark baby's progress.

Adorable - only one tiny caveat.
This is absolutely stinking adorable. I love the illustrations. I love that in the holidays section it has a page with Christmas on one side and Easter on the other, then a page with Hannukah and Passover on the flip sides so you can tear out whichever page (or both) depending on your traditions. It does make the holidays fall into a weird order in the book that way though, since halloween, valentine's, etc. all come after that so they aren't in chronological order. Perhaps making the holiday pages double-faced would have solved that concern... idk. The only thing that brings it down to four stars is that when I opened it there was definitely some odor, like paint or glue fumes. I'm sure those would air out after a while but I just wouldn't have expected that from a book to begin with. Ultimately, I chose to return this item but only because my husband preferred to go with an ABC theme journal since we did our nursery up in a sort of literary fantasy theme. If you were to buy this as a baby shower gift for someone I would recommend that you take it out of the plastic packaging for a while to let those fumes dissipate before gift-wrapping it.

Single parents
FOR SINGLE PARENTS- I searched for quite some time for a book that would work well for my situation. ( no active dad) I was a bit hesitant to order after reading it does have “parents” referenced a couple times but decided to give it a try as the only other option I was considering was about twice the price so figured I was see if it would work before ordering the book that is completely geared for a single mom. Below is a picture of the two pages where “parents” is reference. As you can see, it’s right below the picture squares, I will simply be cropping the pictures as to cover up the wording and think it will work just great! The book is very well made and cute without being too “ babyish” ! Covered all the big milestones and basics without going to in detail where I will be embarrassed by an empty book down the line!! Highly recommend for any family situation!

Love it so much I’m getting another one
I bought this book two years ago for my second son, and now that I’m looking at one of their other designs for baby three thought I’d take a minute to come write a review! I absolutely love this book so much. My eldest has a much older style baby book (actually a random spare my mom for some reason still had from one of my siblings lol) and there was so. Much. Writing. I actually covered up some prompts with pictures because there was to much and not enough space for photos. So when I found this one for baby two I was seriously in love! So many picture spots for months and milestones, with just enough writing space to remember the really important bits. We do monthly photos with a teddy bear so I would just get out the book when we took those and fill in the prompts for the month and then go back and print photos to add later. Could I still have put in way more photos given more space? Sure. Lol. But having to be somewhat selective probably means it will be less overwhelming for him to look at later anyways. I also really love that they include so many holidays! A lot of baby books seem very geared towards Christians and while that works for me since I am one, I love seeing more inclusiveness for those of other faiths. It was super easy to remove the page of Jewish holidays we didn’t need. Definitely looking forward to getting another one of these for baby brother!
