I love how this works on my skin!!! It leaves my face, neck & chest feeling soft but tight. I use it AM & PM with my favorite moisturizer with sunscreen. I noticed a difference after the first day. I am 54 & my fine lines have been dramatically reduced. It goes on wet then sinks in & dries within 30 seconds.

It absorbs well, though the results were not as noticeable as I expected. That said, the price is reasonable for the size, so it is worth trying.

This a great product for preventing skin from aging

The serum feels lightweight and absorbs quickly without any sticky residue. I haven’t been consistent enough to notice major changes yet, but it’s gentle on my skin and easy to layer with my other products. Excited to see results with regular use. I will follow back up..

I've noticed since using this that my skin seems to be a lot clearer, and I'm wondering if that has to do with the fact that the skin is more hydrated. Look, it's not giving me the Benjamin Button effect, but nothing short of her facelift will at my age, 48. I can't say though that my skin feels much better, has fewer blemishes and looks better in general. I have very, very sensitive skin and this has not caused any outbreaks, rashes or triggered any rosacea. I apply it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night and then layer on Avene RetrinAL. I'm not able to tolerate tretinoin or other retinoids, so that one works for me. And then I apply a very small amount of light moisturizer on top. I have been using this for more than a month now, and finding that what people say about being consistent with facial products is key. So, if you're fair skinned and very sensitive I can say that I recommend this without hesitation to help with hydration/repair and fine lines.

I’ve been faithfully using The Ordinary products for a couple years now, and although my skin had somewhat improved during that time, my progress totally plateaued and I got discouraged. So I started doing research into what my skin needed to keep trekking along to its version of perfection (thanks ChatGPT lol), and one ingredient I learned about was Matrixyl. I have been using this for about two weeks now. I realize it’ll take time for me to see any “major” differences in appearance. But the *feeling* of my skin already?? My God you guys… my skin quite literally feels like a baby’s butt. I keep having to muster up the self control to quit touching my face because I’m just so flabbergasted by how soft it feels all of a sudden. The texture of serum kind of feels like a water-based lube 😆 I actually love the feeling of it. It’s my favorite product to put on my face right now. I have to add this disclaimer: In addition to this product, in the last couple months I have also… - Switched from TO Squalane cleanser to the La Roche-Posay Toleriane cleanser - Stopped using TO Hyaluronic Acid - Switched from Dr. Thayers Blemish Clearing Facial Toner to TO Glycolic Acid Toner - Started using TO AHA + BHA Peeling Solution - Started using RoC Retinol Correxion Line Smoothing Eye Cream - Started using Morganna’s Alchemy BellaTox serum - And added a Puresoft filter to my bathroom sink faucet. So… a LOT has changed for my routine lately 😅 It would be nearly impossible to be able to identify how this product, alone, has impacted the health of my skin. All I can tell you for *certain* is that it feels PHENOMENAL on the skin. I am a believer that this (along with BellaTox and the retinol eye cream I added to my routine) will help prevent any oncoming wrinkles in my near future (I’m 28 rn)! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
