Great product
Needed to fix some scratches and stains on the walls before moving out of a rented flat, this did the job perfectly, it doesn't make things look "as new" obviously, and you can definitely spot the treated areas if you look close enough, esp. if looking at an angle (just because of the difference in glossiness), but overall it masks things very well. No idea why it's rated so poorly here, it's a very good product.

Works well
Definitely worth a go if you're like myself and would rather have a tooth pulled than do any sort of DIY. Had several small areas where I've scraped the paint on a wall, this covered it up well. Would recommend requesting the sample thing first too, I got a really good match that way.

I thought my garage roller door was a write-off
Dirt gets caught between the slats on a roller door and the trapped dirt causes erosion and corrosion. Cleaning off all the dirt and corrosion followed by the use of touch-up paint is the answer. No need for primer or undercoat is a big plus and also the white matt finish matches in with white matt garage doors

Works as expected
Works as expected once build up in thin layers. Ends up leaving a Matt finish, unsure how much better this will actually be than any other paint

It's Matt black not glossy black
Would have been nice to know this beforehand but you don't know until you open the packaging and see it on the bottle. Sent back for a refund.

Couldn't open it
Could never open it no matter how hard I tried. The product seemed to be dried inside. Did run it under hot water as well but still couldn't open.

I am thrilled beyond words with this product! The chip matching "kit" I ordered from Soto's website arrived really quickly, which was a good surprise. As another reviewer suggested, I cut the center of the chips that looked like a good fit. This made a huge difference when choosing the best color. Based on the intact chip I thought one color was a match. After cutting out the centers, however, I realized that a different color was better. Definitely cut out the centers! The first bottle of Soto arrived was chalky, leading to mediocre results. I contacted Amazon, who replaced it quickly, without any hassles. The second bottle was perfect. The touchup paint was smooth and easy to apply. The results on my entertainment center, which had lots of dark chips, speak for themselves. Since some of the chips were deep, I applied several layers of paint, allowing them to dry in between. In order to make the touchup smooth, especially after the initial lumpy/bumpy application, I used a moistened "Magic Eraser," which worked really well. It's very gentle and did not hurt the surrounding areas. It's important to follow instructions and clean the area first, to make sure 1) the color matches and 2) the paint adheres properly. To clean the area, I used little individual premoistened alcohol squares, which worked like a charm. It's also important to shake the bottle first, to make sure the color is mixed properly. Rather than ditching furniture into a landfill, which is bad for the environment and one's pocketbook, this product allows you to give new life to existing furniture. Between the Soto touchup and new handles, my entertainment center looks like new....for less than $35 ($13 for the Soto paint and $20 for new handles). If you can use liquid paper, you can use this. I just ordered another bottle for porcelain and will post photos of my bathroom sink's touchup when complete. This is a fantastic product. You will love it!

I used another colour for a different project, this time black turned out a little on a grey side so I returned it but one of them got stuck on my construction site, I just found it today and it was so perfect for my sliding door touch up that I have to order again. Colour is a little different than pitch black when it dries. It didn’t work on my windows but it was perfect for the doors. Thanks Soto

I used this to touch.up some.black chairs. Our feet had a puffed them up a liitle bit. Worked great, was very easy to apply. So much better to use than those crayon or pens that are usually dried up.

It’s grey and the polish is out on like nail polish.

I needed this to touch up paint on a flat black bicycle frame. The qualty of the paint is okay. The only issue was the color. Instead of the expected true black flat finish it is more of a light black, maybe towards the grayish side. It was so much lighter/ grayer in color I ended up having to go into town to find a solid black replacement. Again nothing wrong with the paint just not the black i expected.
