Best pencils in the universe
My husband read about Ticonderoga pencils in a Ray Bradbury book when he was a child. So, me buying a box of these for our kids was definitely a blast. Best pencils in the universe, as advertised.

Great Transitional Pencil!
Such a great transition writing tool for early writers. I have purchased this pencil for my classroom of early writers and it has improved their handwriting. It has also helped strengthen weak hand muscles into using the proper writing grip. This is such a great product from a tried and true company.

Great Pencils for Carpenters
I ordered these pencils after my sister brought me a triangular pencil from France. I thought they made a perfect size for carpenter's pencils. I wasn't wrong. I usually like a normal pencil instead of the flat carpenters pencil because they are more accurate but they are a little too fragile to carry in a tool belt. The Laddie Tri-Write is a little more substantial than a standard writing pencil and they hold up to a lot of abuse, but you can still sharpen them down to a nice point. The lead is a little soft so they leave a nice dark line which is easy to see with sawdust flying around. I wouldn't complain if it was slightly harder so the point would last longer, but for me the point holds up for almost an entire work day. The triangular profile makes it a little less likely to roll off a work piece but not nearly as stable as the standard carpenters pencil. Conclusion: if you like a more accurate pencil for marking lumber and the little ones are always breaking this pencil is a great alternative. Now if I could only find someone who could print my logo on them...

The erasers last as long as the pencil with all my students.
Love these pencils for my students. They feel good in the hand and the erasers last much longer than traditional pencils.

Huge time-saver!
I'm a kindergarten teacher and, up to now, spent way too much time sharpening the school-issued Oriole #2 pencils at the end of every day. I was getting very tired of cracking lead and defective pencils that wouldn't sharpen to a point. The Ticonderoga Laddie eliminated these problems. A tip lasts for days: I only sharpen once a week! The lead is dark and thicker than regular #2's, so the kiddoes that have light hand pressure have better success with creating more visible lines. The triangular shape allows the pencils to stay put. Although I have to buy these with my own money, my time is worth it. The pencils will last all year! (The erasers won't last all year, but they are larger so they do last longer than on regular #2's.}

Great writing, so so erasing
I bought these for my classroom to replace the Ticonderoga black pencils. These do not break nearly as often as the Tri’s do. However the erasers just don’t do the job.

Helpful pencil with no juvenile labels
My son struggles mightily with handwriting. I mean, really really struggles. He likes these pencils a lot. They are more comfortable for him, though his handwriting still is very poor. One thing I really like about these— they don’t scream “my first pencil” or “kindergarten pencil” or any other juvenile label. My son is older and that would embarrass him. The larger size and triangle shape help him, but they don’t look out of place at school. Lead seems soft, sharpens well. Will be buying again.
