Love this thing gets the job done quickly batteries last well if you need it get it

Not cheap but indispensable
If you are running pex you need one. Dont use sharkbites (they are really meant for repairs or one offs) and the hand tool (non powered) one is a huge waste of time. Read the instructions! Do not over tighten the heads. Do clean and lubricate. Do not drop it in the dirt or mud. Try to keep it clean. Makes the work easy and fast. Make sure the pex and coupling are ALL the way on the fitting or cyst it off and do it again. Battery lasts a long time. And please:Strap pex neatly with correct straps and use isolators through boardsDon’t kink, get extra fittings - plastic are fine unless you are transitioning to copper.Do insulate all your pex - rats are only to happy to chew on pex, but less so the insulation. Also helps protect it from rubbing on sharp things and maintains water temp.Good luck!

This tool works perfectly! The only thing to remember is that you have to immediately attach the fitting after you expand the PEX. If you wait just a few seconds, you have to expand it again. Not the fault of the tool, just the way PEX A works! The tool does a great job!
