A Twist In My Story

I find the music to be beautiful and for whatever reason it gets to me. The product itself was great.

I bought this cd for my two teenage daughters, aged 16 and 13, and they just love it! I had never heard of this group before, but after listening to it in the car with them, I am now a fan as well. It was a nice change of pace from the music they usually listen to, the kind of music that screams at you and (adults) can't understand what is being said. This is a great cd, and now I'm thinking about buying a copy for myself.

I Fell in Love with Secondhand Serenade after I heard his first song "Fall For You." I bought the CD and Loved it. I own 3 of this CDs but this is one of my favorite records of him, If you're into romantic songs, This CD is for YOU. All the songs in this record are Amazing!

I heard Secondhand Serenade a few times on Pandora and liked them so much that I purchased this album. I was dissappointed with the quality of sound... it almost sounds like the instrumentals were too loud. It sounded much better streaming over Pandora for some reason. Perhaps this is just an isolated incident, but love their music - the sound quality just sounds off.

A very good cd!! I love the sound of this group. The songs all tell stories which all speak to me in different ways. I am thrilled with this cd - it is the only one I carry in my car right now.

Awesome songs, I really loved stranger and a twist in my story, and the movie was pretty cool and the poster is awesome, I think you should definitely get this!

I am obsessed with this albumn, I listen to it every day. The lyrics to each song are really meaningful and the vocals, music, etc. fit it perfectly. If you've heard the single "Fall for You" and enjoyed it, this entire CD is similar to that single. You can also keep it on low at work all day!

I saw a video of this guy on Youtube and thought I would buy his album and help support the independant artist. His sound reminded me a little of Hoobastank "The Reason", which is fine by itself, but too much of that heartfelt angst gets old quick. I probably shouldn't leave any feedback which will offend the fanboys & girls, but I payed for the CD and will try and be as kind as possible. First, I will say that this guy has an awful lot of talent. I've been playing guitar for a long time and would kill to be able to sing well enough to produce my own songs, but sadly, I don't have the voice. This guy has a good voice, I just question his approach at times, or maybe the producers decisions. Some of the songs were annoyingly whiny, with overly melodramatic gasping close to the mic. Lyrically, I suppose you could take any song out of context and say it's emotional, romantic or whatever, but in the context of an album full of the same old heartbreak, alternating with undying love, it all starts to sound and feel the same. Most albums have a balance of 2 or 3 love ballads at the most and other songs about more diverse topics. I know this sensitive guy, you're my reason for living stuff goes over well with the young girls, I'm definitely not in that demographic. For the girls in this demographic that love the idea of a guy writing love songs to them, and break up songs about them, they should love it. For me, the talent is obviously there, and I will take the songs I like and copy those to a mix CD, but I can't listen to the whole album straight through. The last few songs really bug me. Too much of a good thing, and some not so hot things mixed in. This is not really a bad thing, since even my favorite albums have songs I'm not crazy about. A little filler is par for the course. Overall, it is a solid album that he should be proud of and people should hear, but it's not for everyone. Girls will love it though. He will no doubt mature as a man and songwriter and go on to bigger and better things, so maybe I'll stay tuned and give him another try later after his divorce seasons him a little.

This is a brilliant album , I think I found these guys on YouTube through the suggestions box and I am so glad I did! I also love the new auto-rip feature as I downloaded this to my laptop and I have not opened the CD since it arrived

Dieses Album von Secondhand Serenade übertrifft wirklich alles andere. Es sind ruhige, aber auch spannende Lieder dabei. Der Mix ist somit sehr gut gelungen und auch die Texte sind einfach nur klasse - Gefühlvoll und Atemberaubend. Es ist wirklich erstaunlich was der Sänger John Vesely da auf die Beine gestellt hat. Das Album kann ich nur empfehlen.

１stのアコギの弾き語りから今作はバンド編成でのアルバムになります。 前作が好きな人は今作のバンドサウンドに馴染めないかもしれません。 自分も前作のほうがしっくりくるし、アコギをかき鳴らしエモーショナルに歌い上げるJohnの切ない声に魅力があったからです。 ですが、前作収録のM3,M5がバンドサウンドでまた違った感じで曲が生まれ変わってます。 アルバム全体をみても佳曲揃いなので十分満足出来るアルバムではあります。 Dashboard Confessionalが好きな人に！！
