Mattel Jurassic World Toys Camp Cretaceous Sound Strike Cryolophosaurus Medium-size Dinosaur Figure, Strike Action, Sounds, Movable Joints, Ages 4 Years Old & Up

Stopped roaring in 5 days. Started by making a weird clicking sound in the tail and then action feature of sound completely stopped. Replacement of batteries did not help... Of late the Jurassic world toys have been getting very flimsy.... First Pteranodon now this.... Highly disappointing considering they're charging much more in UAE then actual price.

Stay away! Sound stopped working in a week from purchase. Extremely disappointed in these toys especially for the price they ask.

So it's June and I ordered this back at the end of April. We have a 6 year old and a 2 year old that are obsessed with these dinosaurs (thanks scanner app!), and we also don't go into stores as frequently as we used to; just since it's a hard age for the 2 year old to go in. My wife and I got down some crazy Jurassic World dinosaur pre-order hole on Amazon and got them all since our 6 year old's birthday is coming up and he tries to scout out all the dinosaurs to ask for. This guy popped up and we flip flopped a couple days whether he would be worth it, but it's definitely a better deal to get it for $15 than to struggle and fight to find it in a store after it's been released. I don't know what it is with these toys, but they seem to fly out of stock everywhere we check. Anyway, the dinosaur. This Cryolophosaurus is a Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous Primal Attack version, instead of the new Dino Escape line, so even though it was a pre-order, I don't think it's a new-new release. My WHOLE reasoning for buying this was because I thought it was all dark/black with the like, flecks of white and the pop of color on its head crest. I thought "Holy Cow that looks cool! It's like a dinosaur galaxy! 6 year old is gonna love this!" Well, it doesn't quite look like a dinosaur galaxy in person. It's a really dark blue color, which is pretty unique for Jurassic World dines, but MAN I thought the black would have been sharp. It's your standard run-of-the-mill $14.97 dinosaur that you'd find in a big box store, so I wouldn't pay that much more for it. And because it's a Primal Attack, once you pull the tab it's game on. Our son has a Majungasaurus and a Triceratops like this, and they get played with less because they continually roar when you move them and it can get annoying. It feels like it's a pretty sturdy creature. The jaw is manual - you have to do the work to make it open - but the tail makes the dinosaur's head swivel up and down and in all directions. Overall, try to keep around $15 for it, because in my JW book it's not a 'gotta have it's like the Indoraptor or the Tyrannosaurus' are. The color scheme is cool, but the Primal Attack' aren't my favorite JW dinosaur line.

Not a well known dinosaur but my two kids always want this dinosaur to play with (4.5y and 3y). Has become one of the favourites in the house. Sounds are realistic and impressive. Kids love it
