Beautiful faucet, works great. A few minor complaints - the handle had a minor blemish on it when we received it - we installed it in a way that it is hidden, but when you pay that much for a faucet...you kinda want it to be perfect. The second is that it has been installed for a month and on the spray mode one of the streams keeps spraying back. If you tap it - it fixes the stream, but still kind of annoying. It may just have to be cleaned or something. My last complaint is that I wish it stuck out just a little more into the middle of the sink. We have a pretty big sink, so that might be the issue. Nice flow, couldn't be happier with how it looks!

I decided to return this faucet. I thought that Elkay was an American-owned company with American workers making American-made products. Sadly, this faucet is made in China, and some things about it made me feel ripped off. First, the spring does not start perfectly vertical from the base -- rather, it starts at a slight angle, making the faucet look a little crooked and forward-leaning. Second, it would squeak slightly when rotated from side to side. Third, too much force was required to pull the sprayer to the bottom of the sink. Fourth, the head is lightweight and not the true durable, heavy metal feel that I had expected from such a pricey faucet. Last, it just didn't look as attractive as I expected. Sorry Elkay, but I was left unimpressed. For once in my life I wanted to pay a little extra to support an American company producing quality products domestically, and this was what I got. However, I do thank you for the free return shipping.

I can't believe it hasn't been two months and it suddenly sprung a leak just above the head. We removed the head and determined the ring that holds the head on leaks where it should be fit with a compression fitting or something. Not sure what kept it leaking suddenly. It was working just fine and then water started running out the spiral hose. We installed it at the end of August and it broke by October. Update: I called Elkay and they immediately sent a replacement faucet. They indicated that this malfunction had never happened before.

I like this faucet, however, at the beginning the flow was VERY slow. I got my plumber to look at it so he took it apart and there was a lot of debris inside the spray area. He removed it and it worked much better...for a few weeks. It started doing it again and there was more debris in there. Since it was a brand new faucet my plumber suggested calling the manufacturer to have it replaced. I'm assuming since the price is so much lower on this website the actual product quality is too good to be true. Aside from the debris problem, I absolutely loved this faucet. You just might want to buy one through your plumber who will cover any work if it needs it.

I have been looking for a commercial or near-commercial grade pre-rinse faucet for a while. In the end it came down to this product or the Kraus KPF-1602. I decided on the Elkay because it has a simpler design (only one faucet head), functions more logically for a kitchen faucet (only one "on" lever, and the default is for the spray head to act as a faucet), and is made in the US by a long-standing reliable faucet company (Elkay). It was VERY easy to install, and works beautifully! I've only had it installed for a few days now, but I don't expect any issues. If any crop up, I will re-post.
