Great chime and doorbell thank you
The chime works well, i have had one in the past and always regretted moving to another brand. Set up is simple there's an option in the settings of the door bell to set up this device and the sound is loud enough to be heard at the back of the house. I love how I'm able to plug it into any plug I want which allows me to have it in my living room. The arlo doorbell I have received as a gift from my sister but will review this too as its sold on here :) set up was very hard as it was second hand i didn't have any instructions but on set up I was given advice through the help zone which told me to reset the device and how to do this. It worked straight away! I will say I seen some reviews saying it's hard to connect to the wi fi and yes I did have this issue but a call to my EE who put the broadband on only 2.4ghz setting fixed this issue. After the camera was installed I rang back EE to put my settings back to normal and the doorbell is still working (it does say on instructions during set up that Internet needs to be 2.4ghz). Recording is clear and does show quite a bit of the road and I love the option to record longer then the default 15s. There are plenty of settings to change for example video settings or how sensitive the camera is and of course the option to add a chime assessorie which I would recommend as when your phone is on silent you don't know the door bell is ringing unless your on your phone to see the notification. Mic works perfectly and even on windy days I'm able to hear the person clearly. The arlo app is very easy to use and I have felt this works better then my tapo cameras which i had before although I'd say the budget tapo camera seem to be more clearer then the arlo ones! Overall I'd say the camera is worth the money, i will be purchasing the outdoor set up too.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Quality Doorbell
Works very well! couldn’t be happier with the Arlo Doorbell. The video resolution is absolutely fantastic, crystal clear both day and night, with a wide-angle view that lets me see everything happening around my front door. The build quality feels premium and durable, and the installation was straightforward. What really stands out is how much more secure I feel knowing I can instantly check who’s at the door from anywhere. The motion detection is responsive without being overly sensitive, and the notifications come through quickly. I love being able to speak directly to delivery drivers or visitors, even when I’m not home. Overall, this doorbell has given me peace of mind and a real sense of control over my home security. Highly recommend!

Value for money doorbell
Easy to install and set up. Pretty responsive to movement and the facility to talk to someone at the door via your phone works well. Chime has multiple sounds to choose from. All in all very pleased with it. Only annoying thing is the app keeps logging me out and it is sometimes difficult to log back in

Just what we needed for Arlo doorbell
Need the chime for our camera doorbell. Was a little tricky to connect it to our WiFi, but I think that was user error rather than the appliance. Once it was connected, it was easy to select the sound we wanted and now we can hear when someone rings the doorbell clearly and from any room in the house.

NO SUPPORT and device 8 months old can't cope with new Wi-Fi 6!
Upgraded my Wi-Fi system I managed to connect the video doorbell Model AVD2001 but Chime 2 will not connect to the Wi-Fi. It worked no problem before the Wi-Fi change. After many hours trying to connect, I looked into it and it seems Chime 2 can not connect if a Wi-Fi password contains a character such as an @ sign. Unfortunately, mine does and can’t be changed, as it is fixed by the Wi-Fi system. ARLO MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT OR TALK TO ANYONE AND THEIR PAGES OF SUPPORT & VIDEOS DON'T MENTION THIS PROBLEM. STAY CLEAR OF ARLO!

Can be tricky.. no, impossible to connect on iPhone but...
This Arlo Chime 2 was a total headache to try to get connected on the Arlo app using any iPhone from the 12 upwards (maybe even earlier than that, I don't know). It just would not join the network, ever. The iPhone kept telling me it wasn't a secure network and there was no way of getting past this. Me turning the 5ghz band on my router off didn't make any difference either. I wasted hours of my life I won't get back trying to get the damned thing to connect. The Arlo CS was useless too. So, to save you from the trauma I had (you're welcome) this is what you need to do: Find in a drawer, or in the loft, or borrow from a non-techie an *old* iPad, install the Arlo app, sign in and connect the Chime on there. It will work immediately. Once it's on, it should appear in the app on your current phone and/or iPad, job done. Once the chime is on there, you can delete the Arlo app from the old device and give it back. Why Arlo doesn't address this issue, and practically everybody who has bought a Chime had had it, is beyond me. Modern iPhone security is too high for Arlo's dedicated wireless network - they need to sort it out. But.... having said all that, once the Chime is connected it works pretty well, it's loud enough and hasn't disconnected itself or lost signal in the 6 months I've been using it. There's a couple of second's delay from the bell being pressed to the chime sounding, but I think this is a universal wireless doorbell & chime issue, not just Arlo. TBF the doorbell itself has been extremely reliable too, so if you can get past the setting up process you'll get a decent doorbell & chime out of it. Dropped 2 stars just for the difficulty in connecting the Chime to the app - can't tell you how frustrating and infuriating that was!
