Works great using Xbox series s on apple studio display and can finally get 4k output. There is no audio output to the studio display but I can still use the auxiliary port on the converter to plug in to a portable speaker. Only gripe was the power plug for the mini usb for the converter was smaller than the singapore plug but a workaround was to use a usb a to mini usb to power the converter by plugging it directly to the Xbox is a port. Lucky I had the cable lying around so works better then plugging it into an outlet as power required is only 5v. Little pricey but now I can finally game in my gaming chair in my studio display so 5 stars yeah buddy

I bought this to connect my Xbox to my Apple Studio Display. It works but you need the CableCreation 8K Bi-Directional USB C to DisplayPort Cable in order to connect the 2. There is no audio (I use headphones anyway though) and it only plays back at 1080p with a little lag that took some getting use to. Other than that, it does the job decently enough but I wouldn’t choose this over my Xbox hooked up to the TV.

I was looking for a solution to be able to connect my PS5 with apple studio display at 4K resolution. Using this adapter($120), 8K Bi-Directional DisplayPort to USB C Cable($25), USB Adapter Female to Female($20).It costed $150 to get it working. But being able to work on my mac and then switch the cable to play PS5 on studio display. It's so worth it. 10/10 would recommend.

Can confirm, this lets me play PS5 on my Apple Studio Display in 4K. The monitor upscales it to 5k. Works with no noticeable lag. This is great.
