I used this to make a tool to rebuild a transmission, I welded it into the 1” pipe that was welded to a modified socket - worked perfectly! Cheap, too!

I like TEKTON tools. I believe I get good value and I have a TEKTON flex head 1/2" ratchet as well. Same opinion there.

I really like this adapter. I used it for my 3/8 inch breaker bar to turn it into a 1/2 inch and it worked like a charm when I was doing an engine mount replacement. Tekton makes high quality components and I'm glad I picked this one up. The adapter is smooth and well made you can tell it's high quality. It is a bit pricey at $8, but even for someone as cheap as I am I would buy it again. 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch adapters were hard for me to find where I live, so that's why I bit the bullet and paid $8 for the adapter. After buying this adapter I am a Tekton fan. They are high quality and I bought another product from them. The build quality on Tekton tools is high and the prices are pretty reasonable compared to Snap-On or MAC Tools. If you need a 3/8 inch adapter I would highly recommend this one. It is very high quality and I'm glad I bought it.
