I purchased this headlamp as an upgrade for my 1981 Honda GL500I (Interstate / Silverwing) motorcycle. First impressions - it is a phenomenally excellent upgrade when compared to the OEM reflector and standard halogen bulbs. It was hard to know whether this would fit, but it does. It is a perfect drop-in replacement for the old glass reflector housing. You may need to re-aim vertically to get it pointed just right. Benefits: - Wide spread, illuminates left and right of road (ditches, etc) - Much longer beam of light - Brighter - Low beam is much better than halogen, actually usable - High beam is amazing, so much better aimed, straight down the road, not up into the trees. - Perfect fit for existing headlight clamps and aiming mechanism on my fully faired Honda GL500I. Works like it came with the bike. - Made in USA, tangibly better quality than cheap units, feels substantial. - 3 year warranty - hope not to need it but nice to know, right? Negatives: - None that I saw. Highly recommended! Probably works on any CX500, CX650, GL650, etc.

I did SO much research before purchasing a light for my 2008 FLHX. I wasn't a fan of the look of the JW Speaker lights and loved the smoked look of the Truck-Lite. I am not disappointed. At this price point this has to be the best 7" light on the market. It has a wide beam pattern so I see more of the road and the high beam goes WAY out. Its attractive, its bright, and it was a breeze to install. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Seller experience was great, light appears to be good quality. The Adjure mounting ring required for installation on my motorcycle failed after about a year and I ended up going back to the factory headlight housing with a Cyclops LED bulb. This light is bright with a good color, but as you can easily see in the Jeep Wrangler pictures from another reviewer, the pattern has large dark spots and is very patchy. It might be better with 2 of them in a vehicle, but for a motorcycle, a quality LED replacement (with a designer that understands emitter placement to properly function in an incandescent reflector) will be significantly better than this bulb. The Cyclops bulbs are about a third the price, too.

I used these Trucklite LEDs to replace standard 7" sealed beams in an old car. These are way better than the sealed beam lights, at a reasonable price for quality LEDs. They are made in USA, and this Trucklite model has been around and well proven for many years. On low beam, these have a decent upper cutoff to prevent blinding oncoming drivers, and high beam has a good vertical and horizontal spread. For a bit over $320 for the pair, I would not bother with any crappy imitations or cheaper lights. In LEDs, you generally get what you pay for, and the cheaper copies have lousy beam patterns, even though some advertise more lumens (they are not brighter). Trust me, the beam pattern is way more important than the total light output. To do better than this, you have to spend several hundred bucks more. One fitment note: The front edge of the lens protrudes about 1/2" further forward than the sealed beams I replaced. In most applications you won't notice it, but check your current headlight bezels and decide if you won't mind the lights sticking out a little further.

I was searching for auxiliary lights because my standard 7" headlights weren't putting enough light on the sides of the road. I was spending $50-$60 per pair on aftermarket bulbs (silver stars and the like) that didn't last long and still didn't give that much light. I basically couldn't see where I was headed when making 90 degree turns at intersections. I stumbled across these and decided to give them a try. WOW! They are WAY brighter than silver stars, and they have an excellent pattern as well - razor sharp cut off so you don't blind oncoming drivers, and they throw a lot more light down low and to the sides than standard headlights, so you can see more of driveways and side streets as you're turning into them. Some reviews complain about the "X" pattern. It's visible, but it doesn't really bother me. It would bother me if the light were dim and the X was the only place it were bright, but the lights are super bright, and the "X" is just an area of super duper bright, so it doesn't concern me at all to have the pattern there. It actually helped me to align my headlights just right. Waterproof, shockproof, low current draw, last virtually forever, excellent pattern, way brighter than anything I've ever had, and plugs right into your existing wires. What's not to love? The last pair of headlights you'll ever need to buy. Treat yourself - spend the money - you won't be disappointed!
