B1848 Nordale Clock

I bought this clock to replace a Linden Anniversary clock that was also quartz battery movement. The clock looks similar to my old Linden which had a glass dome. The old clock lasted 10 years and was a gift (cheap) from one of my employers. This one is plastic just like the old one, but the case looks far better than the glass dome. The ornamental balls on the old one stopped working due to a design flaw where as this one has a separate battery operated mechanism and have seen online replacement parts are available should it need repair at a reasonable price. It makes a nice replacement and hopefully outlast the old Linden.

Beautiful clock to replace one we had for 30 years, no assembly instructions so a little had to assemble but I really like it would buy my daughter one when she gets own home

I got my clock the other day and I have to say I just love it. Why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the clock itself is plastic, BUT other than that It looks just great on my fireplace mantel. I love the etched glass on the sides and front of it. The wood casing is beautiful. It's not a heavy clock but it is rich looking if u didnt know the clock was plastic. It keeps great time and I enjoy it very much. Would look great in any home. By the way, it does not chime. Which is fine with me. I have plenty of clocks that chime.

I'm very satisfied with my the service and quick delivery of my purchase. I think the clock looks elegant and works fine. HOWEVER - I bought the same clock 20 years ago and the semi-revolving ornament below the clock face stopped revolving about 7 years ago. Was told it could not be repaired. Sentimental, I bought the same clock. It's on the mantle above my fireplace. Larry - 8/26/20

Wanted a nice mantle clock and waited until this one went on sale. It is beautifully crafted and looks perfect on the mantle above the fireplace. Nothing cheap looking about it.

Shopped alot, finally found one on Amazon. Very satisfied, very nice. Turns out I like clocks and this one is sitting where I sit, comforting.

The clock is pretty looking at it from a distance, BUT is constructed of very cheap materials. All the gold color pieces are plastic NOT metal. You can also see 4 small screws in the interior where the bottom was attached to the sides. The exterior might be wood. It is hard to tell if its solid or merely laminated wood. My personal opinion is that the clock is not worth the price. Constructed more like a $25.00 clock than a $100.00 clock.

We loved this clock so much. It was a gift for my mother-in-law after losing a similar one (along with her roof and almost everything else inside the house) in hurricane Laura. It was so well received. It is beautiful and more than I expected for the price!

Very nice traditional clock. Easy to assemble. Need two AA batteries. One for the pendulum that swings 360 to the right and then left or vice versa. The second for the clock itself. This was a gift, unwrapped and assembled at the time of giving by the gifted. Very pleased and happy with gift.

Love this clock.!!!! Such great quality. It is really beautiful and reminds my husband of the clock that his grandparents had on their mantle. Win win. Bulova is a name you can trust for beauty, performance and perfection.
