I almost never write reviews....but have to in this case. I was skeptical about these grill mats and had never used a grill mat before. Purchased because of the excellent reviews. WOW - I love these! Why? 1. They allow the heat to reach what is being cooked. 2. They catch the grease, preventing it from flaming in the fire and getting the grill grates dirty. 3. They do NOT impact the taste. No funky taste, meat still tastes grilled. 4. Easy to wash. Just swish around in soapy water, wash with a cloth, rinse and hang to dry. Cons: NONE

These work incredibly for cooking anything on the grill. They make clean up 10 times easier and just make the whole process so much easier. Throw them down, cook up the food, and slide it off onto a plate. I would highly recommend these for anyone that cooks with a grill regularly

Love the price. They work great, nice grill marks and save sliced veggies from falling between the grates. Great for fish, aspargus, and cauliflower. This is the second set I purchased as I gifted matts to frirnds and son in law.

I'm really satisfied with this grill mat! It's my first time using a grill mat and I was worried that the meat would come out "fried", but it didn't! I grilled burgers today for lunch and, although they don't grill exactly as they would do on a normal grill, they came out deliciously wet and flavorful. The water and fat that is released by the cooking meat stays on the mat, which is good on one side since you don't have to deal with a messy grill afterwards, but it also tends to cook the burgers as if they were on a teflon pan. I pushed the excess water and fat off the grill mat with a rubber spatula when turning the burgers so it wouldn't "fry" them. The end result is a burger that is less "dry" than a purely grilled one, with nice grill marks but no burnt surface, and a perfectly clean BBQ afterwards (except for some splatter from the water/fat that rests on the mat). Nothing sticks on those mats, it's great! Cleaning the mat was a breeze, I just wiped away the food debris and washed the mat in one inch of soapy water inside the kitchen sink. I'm adding a picture of the mat AFTER the first use and, as you can see, it almost looks like new. There are very slight grill marks on the back and a 1/4 inch "rip" on one edge (I pulled the mat up from the grill with a wrong movement: you have to handle it carefully as it seems to be relatively delicate). Overall, I believe that this mat will last for at least 5 to 10 grilling sessions, maybe more if handled with great care, which is not too bad for a $2 mat.

I've been using these mats for most of my grilling for several years. Love them. Not only are they easy to clean, but it saves me the laborious task of cleaning gunk off the grill. I recently tried grilling homemade pizza on top of these mats, and WOW--game changer! I previously used a pizza stone on the grill but often ended up with burnt crust bottoms by the time the top was cooked. Now I assemble my pizza directly on the grill mat, preheat the grill, and transfer the mat (with pizza on it) to the grill. Close the lid so the cheese & toppings cook, too. The first time, you'll need to keep an eye on the bottom of the crust to figure out timing. By the time I have a small amount of desired charring on the bottom, the toppings are cooked/melted. The pizza slides right off the mat. SO AWESOME! The crust is crisp on the bottom, just the way I like it. CLEANING TIP--Mat's clean easily in the sink or dishwasher. Dry them on a drying rack made for bottles and plastic bags (picture provided).

My sole purpose in buying these were to keep the grill clean. They absolutely do NOT keep the grill clean. Fat dripped on all sides down all over the inside. Mat is easy to clean, a good size, food was fine, etc. But does not do what is stated: Reusable Grill Mat They are totally reusable when used in the temperature range of 500 degrees Fahrenheit. It will not retain or transfer tastes or odors between uses.

The best cooking help ever and it lasts indefinitely. No worries about what was on the grill last! Food comes off delicious and cooked as desired. No blinding smoke chocking you while you cook. This product is as good or BETTER than advertised!
