I received this as a gift and was really impressed with the overall quality. The matcha itself is excellent, and the accessories feel well-made and sturdy. The bamboo whisk is good quality and holds its shape nicely after use. That said, I personally reach for my electric whisk most of the time when making matcha lattes — it’s just faster and more convenient for daily use. Still, the traditional whisk is great to have, especially if you enjoy preparing matcha the traditional way. I especially love the wooden spoon — it feels solid and well-crafted, and it’s a nice touch to the set. Overall, a thoughtful and high-quality starter kit.

This was the perfect starter kit because I learned what I need and don't need. I also don't like buying too many things (e.g., the chawan bowl and the whisk holder) especially if I realize I don't like it later. So this starter kit really appealed to me, and I highly recommend it. As someone who is not preparing matcha as a ritual, I only need the bamboo whisk because I just use a tea spoon to measure my matcha and I don't sift it. I just whisk away in hot water and my matcha latte taste fine. I've had my whisk for about 6 months at use it at least once a week. This past month, I've used it daily and it is still functional and doesn't appear moldy. I attached a video of its current state. After I'm done whisking my matcha, I'll pour hot water in a bowl, whisk the matcha remnants off my bamboo whisk, and then rinse my bamboo whisk with room temperature water. After, I'll air dry it and store it away once it's completely dry. The size of the whisk is fine and it is exactly what I wanted. Since I don't use the sifter for my matcha, I use it for other things when I cook and it works well! It hasn't rusted and it is durable. The bamboo scoop was fine but just unnecessary for me. Now that I know that I'll be preparing matcha long term, I'll look into investing in a whisk holder and a chawan bowl.

i've had it for a long while now and honestly it works great for stirring any 6-8 oz cup beverage. I mostly use it for tea and coffee. only thing i"d call it's downfall is that the strength of the motor doesn't do too well for longer glass' 12-16 oz, and two the stirring wire is too short. the battery life is pretty decent rarely have to swap it out. oh and not an issue for me but for others it might be. the white case stains and it does not come off from regular dish soap.

Easy to prepare, I used plant based milk, blue blueberry and and strawberries. Excellent.I actually felt the stress drain and head ache went away. I love it. Looking forward to coming up with different recipes. I will purchase again

I really like this matcha set! I actually find it really therapeutic to whisk the matcha every morning for my lattes. I'm very careful with cleaning the whisk and the bamboo spoon that the set came with just based on other pictures/reviews I've seen here but so far I have no complaints. I also really enjoyed the information booklet that came with the set as well with instructions for different recipes.

This is the Perfect Matcha set from JadeLeaf! They really do matcha perfectly from the Matcha Latte Barista Matcha tea to the unsweetened matcha tea powder! I love this matcha a I stretch this powder by adding plain matcha powder to the mix! Delicious!
