What would be the correct size for a women's size 11 shoe?

I actually contacted DARCO to see how long the L is, as i wear a woman's 8 1/2-9 shoe and i bought a large, which fits me well A women's large would not fit an 11, I'm sure. My foot is simar. Maybe a little smaller, like 9 1/2. I got a women's large and it had some room to go. I would suggest that one. This shoe was amazing. The Dr at the ER said it was better than the ones they used and it fit me well when I was recovering from a torn ligament down the side of my foot and pinky toe.
