Compostable bags! Don't be fooled by other "earth-friendly" dog poop bags!
These bags are awesome. Very large! I have two big dogs and I can literally fit both their poops in one bag if I have to. They open easily and are strong. I've never had a leak or tear. I admire this company for their diligence in creating a truly "earth-friendly" dog poop bag. I do not compost but I feel better knowing these bags will disappear much more quickly than a plastic bag.

Better than rolls
Best poop bags - the flat tissue-box like package is so much easier to manage than the typical rolls. Bonus being bio-degradable.

Poopetypoopoop!
These bags are quite nice. Our house has had a minimum of 4 dogs for the past 10 years soooo....we generate a lot of dog poops. I have tried every poo bag on the market. A couple things I have learned:1. Get bags with handles. So much easier to tie. And untie, in the case where you may have a double popper and no extra bag.2. Get decent size bags. It probably sounds gross to some, but it's easy to fit two poops in one bag which helps conserve when you are walking multiple dogs3. Get compostable bags when you can. This is different than biodegradable. Compostable bags break down much faster and are much more sustainable. So, with those key criteria in mind there are only a couple of bag choices out there and this is one of them. These bags are good quality (thick) and do the trick. I will keep ordering them as long as these guys keep making them. They are a little pricier but we'll worth it. If you are debating whether to get these or not, just do it. You'll be glad you did.

Bags laid flat
Great product but the bags were not in a roll but laid flat instead. Very inconvenient

Taking Control When Possible
Ok, I know I am reviewing poop bags, but for so many reasons I have less to stress about when taking the doggo for a walk. Before I got these I would cringe every time I had to pick up after my 100lbs floof because those poops are large and in charge (read: must use 2 standard bags) and the sound of the plastic called up images of dead marine life. It sucked. Now, everything is golden! I can use 1 bag that is appropriately made to be the most considerate to the environment (reflected in the soft sound that doesn't conjure horrid images). They are sturdy and the handle design on the large size means I can actually tie it off to carry it to the pet waste bin. Yay - I don't have to smell poop!Look, the price is a little - only a little - higher than i would have preferred, but they have worked out in so many ways that i am not sweating it at all.

love these bags
I have six big dogs. As you know, what goes in must come out, and if I don't pick up my back yard everyday it begins to smell like a sewer. Also have a couple dogs who eat what they shouldn't and the only way to keep that from happening is to pick it up before they get to it. So, that being said, prior to discovering ASTM rated bags I was using grocery store plastic bags for my daily 'dooty' and was feeling really guilty about the amount of plastic I was contributing to the county landfill. I first tried another brand that was vegetable based and industrial compostable and it did the job well. No complaints. Then I discovered these little beauties that have the handles that make it SO much easier to tie up and dispose of. I won't say it was life changing, but it IS worth it to me to pay a little bit more for the convenience of the handles and the larger size. One bag will hold a day's worth of poop from 6 large dogs (labbies and pitties) and I dispose of it right away, so I can't vouch for non-leakage after it sits for awhile. I like that they are based in Michigan and LOVE that they contribute to animal shelters. Way to go, dudes. :)TL;DR Handles on poop bags are like pockets on women's clothes. You NEED them but often can't find them. Love these bags.

Use For Cat Litter - PERFECT
We use these as a guilt-free alternative when it comes to scooping the cat litter in between full box changes. These bags are the perfect size (we have 2 litter boxes, so use 1 baggie per box sweep) and the handles make it super easy to tie the bag closed. They're incredibly sturdy and I just love that they're biodegradable.

Inconvenient to use
Pros: Large size, tie handles are GREAT, pretty sturdy/don't tearCons:- Doesn't come in a roll -> very difficult to take on a walk/remember to take on a walk. I prefer rolls that always stay in a leash dispenser.-Bags are very floopy and when you invert them to pick up the poo, they just flop back down towards the ground, making it unnecessarily difficult to scoop and not contaminate the top of the bag-The cardboard dispenser it does come in doesn't work well and I ended up pulling most of the package out every time I tried to take one bag out
