I moved to a new city in Northern California from a different city in Northern California (with a new water source) three years ago and basically overnight developed terrible skin issues. For three years I have tried nearly everything to resolve the dry flaky itchy irritable skin on my legs and face to no avail. I honestly couldn’t believe how terrible my skin felt, always tight, itchy, ingrown hairs when I shaved my legs. Acne on my face. I felt like my skin stopped allowing my hair to grow through and basically became like a closed capsule over my body. Every follicle basically became an inflamed issue. Sorry to go into so much detail, but I was being driven mad by this change in my skin and searched for years for a fix- with different moisturizers, salicylic acid , ahas, body oils, you name it I tried it. I had basically given up hope and couldn’t figure out what happened to my skin. Then I stumbled upon a post online that mentioned how hard water can affect sensitive skin and that some people with skin issues might benefit from a water filter on their shower. So I figured what the hell. I had had a pimple here out there before. But this new situation left my body covered in boils and ingrown hairs and I was desperate for a solution. I bought this filter despite some negative reviews because I liked the price point. I’ve been using it for a week, and the install was not difficult. At first it leaked water, but I took it off and added more plumbers tape and it worked fine. No more leaks, water pressure is fine. When I tell you that instantly in my first shower I knew something was different. My shampoo soaped different, I barely need any compared to before to create a lather. My hair is so shiny and soft now. And after a few days, my skin started peeling and appears to be recovering from whatever was affecting me before. I felt like I molted my weird dry skin and my face is healing. I am no longer itchy, and I am not feeling like I have to slather myself in lotion. Long story short. If you are on your last hope and searching for something to try to help with your skin issues- it’s been life changing for me. I did go online and look at the water report for my city to make sure this filter took out the worst offenders in my water. I would highly recommend looking at your water report before deciding which filter to buy- just to make sure it will have the positive affect you desire. I highly recommend this filter and would honestly buy it again and again because my results are incredible.

This heavy-duty filter is amazing for combating hard water and chlorine. My skin is softer, my hair is healthier, and I can tell the difference in water quality immediately. Installation was a simple no-tool process, and it works with handheld showers too. Highly recommend this effective and durable filter!

flipped between 3 and 4 settled on 4. They provide everything to install, clear instructions, tape even. only thing is any tool to remove the existing or tighten the filter. Also provide spare filters I believe. The first one I got, twisted it apart to see the filter housing, put it back together, and could never get it to seal in the middle, but not a bad leak. Family loved it, said it was doing an excellent job. They felt a difference in the water (why it got 4 stars). Ordered a water testing kit, there was no difference between the tap water and water from the filter, but I did not order the test with maximum test, Ordered two more, all I did is install them, weird that they leak from the seam also. Overall everyone likes them, getting to the point to replace the filter, will see how it does post that.

I live in an agricultural area where there's a ton of runoff into the lake where we get our water. They put a LOT of chlorine in it, especially in the spring, so much so that last year our town sent notices to everyone's house because it was over the limit. I could taste the chlorine in the water, and noticed my hair lightening. My skin was so dry/itchy. Finally had enough and was happy to find this. My skin feels better and my hair isn't changing color anymore. The water is so pure. Changing the filter every 6 months is super easy. Worth the money. Very grateful for this product!

I purchased two of these, one chrome, the other brushed nichol, and installed them in our bathroom showers. Short-story is that the installation was easy, hand-tighten only, no leaks of any kind. The water now "seems" softer, but that's just a feel sort of thing. The major benefit that I'm seeing is that my showers are not mildewing-up like they did before I installed these filters. I would have purchased these filters just for the anti-mildew stuff. Hopefully you see the same results/benefits.

Easy installation and the water immediately feels softer and nicer on my skin and hair BUT the filter doesn’t last 2 months (I live alone so its not from overuse) and the plastic casing is cheap and leaks….

So easy to install ! I could tell the difference on my skin and hair ! I had a different model but when I ordered the filter for the AquaBliss I ordered wrong filter the upgraded version has a slight larger filter , so I decided to order the case that fit the larger filter . I’m glad I did I liked the other one also but I liked the fact this filter goes either way . The other one had only one way …. I gave this one a 5 star because I feel that it was much easier to install filters 💖💞

I will give them 5 stars but it do leak a little so I did exchange one out . I bought 3 of these as they all seem to leak in the seam not a lot . But the nice thing about this filter is a very good filter and my daughter rashes are gone as well as mine. So it’s a very good products account to chat got the best one out there so I will put up with a little leak or changed them out as Amazon will do this for you but the product itself is a great filter

The shower filter works really well and I can no longer smell the chlorine in the water.

Felt the difference immediately, i have a filter Shower head also Not from Aquabliss, but from a local brand, its not great but does the job. BUT the Aquabliss is incredible, now i can relax and take a shower, My hair has a new shine and is growing in thick. Been using for 2 months.

Creo que le falta algo muy importante que es la certificación NSF/ANSI 177, que establece que por lo menos elimine el 50% del cloro en el agua para 25000 galones. Si ni siquiera tiene este certificado, quiere decir que el porcentaje de eliminacion de cloro es mucho mas bajo, y por lo tanto para qué adquirir este producto? Otros puntos: El producto viene con cinta teflon y repuestos. Mas alla de que no tenga certificación, desde mi experiencia personal no he notado mejoras notables en la calidad del agua. Si hubiese sabido de la falta de certificacion, no lo hubiese comprado, cometí el error de guiarme por opiniones (todas las opiniones solo son percepciones de que pudo haber mejorado el agua) que carecen de mediciones cuantitativas de cuanto ha mejorado la calidad del agua. La unica forma de saber si funciona el filtro es con una certificacion que asegure que se cumplen los requerimientos minimos de filtrado. Unicamente recomiendo si buscan algo aceptable y dentro de un rango de precios bajo. Tampoco recomiendo filtros con vitamina C, en realidad no filtran los quimicos o sedimentos, solo elimina parte del cloro y arroja agua con vitamina C para suavizar la piel junto con todos los quimicos nocivos que hay en el agua.
