Hozelock Compact 2in1 Reel with 25m Hose

Great quality, too many parts to assemble though. Takes a bit of time but when you put it together it’s good. Wish it had a retractable hose instead of manually winding it

We purchased this Hoselock 2-in-1 Compact Enclosed Hose Reel with 25 m Hose and Connectors to replace our tired old hose reel that we have had for several years, but was starting to leek and on occasion fall apart and soak you at the most inconvenient times. The new Hoselock arrived very well packed and as I was unpacking it I was feeling a bit uneasy about assembling it as a few of the reviews that I read had indicated that it was a bit difficult to assemble. I did however look at YouTube where the manufacturers had uploaded a video with a step by step guide on how to assemble the complete reel. As it turned out the whole thing was assembled in a matter of no time as the instructions that are supplied are quite explicit and I don't think any one should have any difficulty, that is if you follow the instruction to the letter. A little tip hear is to sort out exactly where you are going to mount the hoselock reel prior to fitting the handle, as I made the mistake of putting it all together before I had even thought about where I was going to mount it. As things turned out there was not a problem, but if I had to change the handle from one side to the other then there would have been a problem. But you must consider what side of the reel that you require the handle that is used to reeling the hose back onto the reel after you have finished with it, if you are right handed then it should go on the correct side and vice versa. I must say that in the past when I have considered buying one of these Hoselock reels I always thought that they were a little expensive, but in reality they are a first rate well thought out hose and reel system that will save you time and money. Plus the ability to screw it to a wall and be able to quickly release it from the quick release brackets is excellent, as well as the complete set of fittings you are supplied with for connecting it to the tap and the adjustable detachable nozzle end is first rate. Also it has a stop valve at the end of the hose where you clip the nozzle into and you can release the nozzle from the end of the hose with the water on and no water is released. I have been using the hose on a regular basis for the last 3 months and there is not a leak or a drop of water spilt from this hose system, the nozzle can be adjusted to let out exactly the amount of water that you require i.e. the smallest amount for watering individual small pots or to full bore for rinsing the car off and all variations in-between. The nozzle can be shut of with the full pressure of water turned on at the tap and you can pull as much off from the reel as you wish without worrying about water leaking. There are no leaks at all from this Hoselock system and all I can say is that it is excellent value for money, it is very practical and without doubt a very well thought out system and highly recommended. I have updated this review just to say that I recently purchased a small Kartcher pressure washer and I was very pleased to find that the end of the hose attachment simply clipped onto the Kartcher water inlet, another bonus point to this excellent Hoselock compact reel.

Conforme à la description. Il faut être délicat pour le ré-enroulage et guider le tuyau. Tous les connecteurs sont bien étanches. Je trouve intéressant le produit 2 en 1 (on peut utiliser l'enrouleur ailleurs en cas de besoin ou le rentrer pour l'hiver).

Good system, however we have and still have a previous model where the hose return automatically guides the hose back and forth across the reel to ensure the hose does not bunch up on one side of the reel. On this model you need to move the guide with one hand whilst you are winding the hose up with your second hand and with your third hand, ensure the hose does not kink or twist as it enters the reel. Hopefully it will prove to be a durable system like its predecessor.

Das Teil ist sehr robust und leicht zu handhaben. Falls man noch einen alten Wasserschlauch hat oder einen brauchbaren Rest davon, sollte man den für die Verbindung zwischen Wasserhahn und Schlauch-Box nutzen; so bleibt einem die gesamte Länge von 25 Meter Schlauch zum Sprengen. Zwar ist der mitgelieferte, aufgerollte Schlauch nicht besonders hochwertig, jedoch sorgt die Box für Schonung. Ein knick-sicherer Schlauch allein kostet bei der Länge ab 70 Euro. So ein Teil braucht dann auch keine Box zum Aufrollen (was wohl auch erheblich anstrengend wär; muss jedoch mühsam zusammengelegt und schwer geschleppt werden. Auch als transportable Box sehr praktisch. Keine Sorge, das geringe Gewicht wird durch die Wasserfüllung im angeschlossenen Schlauch ausreichend gesteigert, die Box ist also standfest. Nach dem Aufrollen des Schlauchs wird die Box wieder tragbar leicht, das Wasser kann sowohl über die offene Spritzdüse als auch über den abgezogenen Anschlussschlauch vom Wasserhahn ablaufen. Ich bin froh, jetzt keinen noch so mühevoll zusammengelegten Schlauch mehr umständlich entwirren zu müssen, abgesehen von der nässenden Schlepperei ... Hätte mir das Teil längst holen sollen, ehe der alte Schlauch undicht wurde *.* Ein paar hilfreiche Montagehinweise hatte ich mir schon erhofft. Wem es genau so geht: das exakte Studium der Bilder klärt bei etwas Geduld alles auf. Auch als technische NULL habe ich es schließlich geschafft. *~*

Dopo nove anni è come nuovo. Montato a un muretto del giardino a mezzombra. È praticamente come nuovo. Le plastiche non si sono ne spaccate ne scolorite. Il tubo di gomma, gli attacchi e il meccanismo di arrotolamento sono perfetti e perfettamente funzionanti. Tenendo presente che abito in una zona di mare a 100 metri dall’acqua, neanche la salsedine lo ha scalfito. Inutile dire che a mio avviso è un prodotto di buona qualità e che nonostante in questi anni il prezzo è raddoppiato, lo ricomprerei. Consigliatissimo, con le dovute accortezze dura una vita.
