Earth Skin Acrylic Paint Pens 36 Medium Tips

Wow. Exceeded expectations and this is my genuine experience. Arrived well-packaged and in quick time. The paint is easy to let down with the pumping action. The paint is good and opaque. It is also very smooth and flows beautifully. The colours are gorgeous. I bought several sets including this one, and across the sets there are one or two that are similar, though not exactly the same. I'd rate these above Posca on huge variety of colours. The paint performance equals Posca in my opinion. I don't know how lightfast these are but they are great for artists as well as crafters, if working in sketchbooks, or creating an artwork that is to be scanned in and reprinted. The pens are smaller than I expected, which is okay, it explains why they're so much cheaper than the much larger Posca pens, as there's less metal plastic and of course paint. I'd love to see these offered with a 6mm chisel nib, a brush tip, and as open stock - or even refill paint bottles. If Tooli-Art did all this, they could corner the market. Well impressed!

This is my first time using Acrylic paint pens. I wanted to purchase a set that was reasonably priced and I would continuously use, these pens met both requirements. The item arrived quickly and was well packaged. Read and follow the instructions, it will take you longer to activate these pens than described on the box! You will really need to give each pen a good shake and then continuously pump the pen nib onto paper, they will activate eventually. It will take you a while to go through all 36 though. The acrylic paint pens work as described and are great for fine details and small areas that require colour. The opaque qualities are good and cover well. Worth the investment as they will become useful in many art projects.

So I purchased these pens based on the great reviews and also im a big fan of Posca acrylic pens but they are quite expensive to keep buying for the small amount of colours u get so was looking for an alternative but with quality these pens in my opnion is just as good as posca if any thing slightly better I didn't find my self pressing down to long for the paint colours to come through it flowed down on the paper with ease and the paint from the pen quality are exceptional, proper quality I'd advise to use on really good smooth quality paper for best results cant wait to start creating patterns with these bad boys i will defo buying more from Tooli-Art im so happy with them for the amount of colours u get, for the money, as well as quality if these were posca pens for the amount of 36 I'd be looking at nearly £100 not in my budget right now so if u are looking for quality acrylic pens these are defo worth your hard earned coins..:)

Great selection of colours and markers feel and look well-made. Reduced a star because some caps are rather difficult to pull off and some do not stay posted on the end of the marker. Also, a couple of colours seemed to need a lot of shaking before use in order to get the true and opaque shade.

I always do a swatch sheet with the very first use of any new pens. This was a very quick process as I just wanted to see how they laid down on the paper (mixed media 250gsm), although some of them sounded scratchy on application, I'm sure with persistence that will fade in time, but great richness of colour. I was pleased with the results. I'm happy with the pigment, and opacity of them. You get a good variety of shades, even if I did find numbers 6+18, 11+12, 34+35 almost identical. But I wonder if looking at them in true daylight shows a noticeable difference, as I did this test late at night under artificial light. I may come back and edit in an update at some point. But as it stands, I'm looking forward to creating art with them. You get 5 spare nibs with the set which is great. I'm considering ordering a different set in the series. But I'll use these for a short while first. Would I recommend them? Yes!

I use theses for bleach stains on cloths. I put a spot of each colour on a piece of white paper then was able to match to fabric colour that had got bleach or a stain. The range is so good it’s easy to get a perfect match. So often things get a stain or bleach and are no longer wearable, but these rectify most marks. I tested on a hem to check the match a second time and with one item used a damp cotton wool bud to transfer the colour diluting it very slightly.

My daughter is into paintings now, I bought this set for her. It's good quality but it's not perfect. The marker tips fall off easily and it's really annoying to grab them and put them back in as you'll get your finders dirty

I can’t fault these paint pens! Absolutely gorgeous colour selection and will certainly be purchasing more of their other colour selections! The paint quality is also brilliant and would say it certainly rivals Posca but is considerably cheaper! If you’re looking for some good quality paint pens but don’t want to spend as much as you would on Posca I would definitely recommend these.

Super jakość i wybór kolorów.

Li ho usati su diversi materiali e risultano perfettamente coprenti; bisogna tenere presente che sulle superfici molto lisce e non porose lo strato tende a graffiarsi facilmente, come tutti gli acrilici all'acqua. Quando la punta si sporca, la tolgo e la lavo con acqua calda. Ci sono 6 punte di ricambio ma per ora non le ho mai sostituite, basta premere la punta su un cartone ondulato e non su superfici molto dure, per ar fuoriescire la tinta. Vanno agitati bene prima dell'uso (io scuoto tutta la scatola chiusa!) La gamma di colori è bellissima, comprerò anche l'altra con i colori brillanti. Prendendoci la mano si riesce a mischiare un po' i colori, su piccole superfici e lavorando in fretta. Purtroppo non c'è il nero e il bianco.

I bought these, along with the Tooli-Art 18 dual-tip set, mainly to paint peg dolls. I love that this set has a good variety of "skin tones" and neutral colors. These are easy to use and store, and the paint flows nicely, and (for the most part) evenly. For small details (like eyes, belts, and tiny stuff) the other set works better, since these pens don't have a fine tip. I've used these about 4 times in the last 2 months, and have no complaints. The only issue for me is that I thought that once dry, this paint would be waterproof (like regular acrylic paint) - but it's not. I'd say it's more like water resistant, but if you grab the painted pegs with sweaty hands or rub them, the paint rubs off... But this wasn't so much of a deal-breaker for me cuz I prefer to spray them with a varnish/ acrylic sealer afterwards, anyway.
